Jim Crowe, you are either delusional or stupid. These bills will devastate the Medicare program and leave many of us on Medicare without medical treatment or death. What a choice!

You are seriously wrong. AARP is now a front for Obama!

This is in replay to Jim Crowe who supports the AARP support of Obamacare.
What are you going to do when you call a doctors office and first question they ask is what type of medical insurance you have. Mention MEDICARE and right away the receptionist will tell you "Doctor is not accepting new patients". I have had this happen to me many times. Since a doctor is a private business, they are not required to take you as a patient. They are not refusing medical service to you but merely telling you they are "full". There is nothing you can do about it. Intelligently, how can you support a program that is taking $500billion from medicare to supposedly inprove the Medical health system when Medicare is already going broke. Another government program, where is that money coming from. We taxpayers are alredy broke.
Thank you. I am already forced to go to an internist that will not accept Medicare because nobody else would take me. My funds are about to run out. So I guess i can go on Medicaid. will anybody accept me?

This sums it up for me, and not wanting to seem naive, I still want to believe there are many who are caring and kind.

I agree but unfortunately with all the external pressure brought on by over crowding and the economy etc we react like rats in a cage. Something has to give and part of it is critical thinking and looking for the good in all people...Thanks for your comment.

"AARP endorses Medicare bills"

Who? Not it's members. Only the director. "No" seniors within or without the ASRP support this bill.

What happened to the advantage plus for seniors? The seniors have way too much to lose.

Your information is not correct. The members do not support it and the rest is political.

Congratulation Jim Crowe!(Unfortunate Name)

You are the only one I know to read the 1900+ pages of Nancy Pelosi's monstros.....er, I mean bill.

We need people like you on our side to convince confused seniors that the way the rescue a system going bankrupt is to make it bigger.

I am inviting you to join Nancy and Me in a celebration of our big election wins in Virginia and New Jersey last Tuesday.

Please be at 1900 Pennsylvania Ave next Tuesday and ask for Big Joe.

Hopey, Changey, ect. xoxo Big Joe.

I agree about AARP, but with Conyers, he has admitted that he never reads the bills, he said it would take took much time. I don't think that is the person I want representing me.

Honey, I read the bill at least 3 times. Easy peasy. And sorry to disappoint you but it was our party that stole... er, I mean won the election. You boys stole New York. I'm never inviting them to my place for a party again. And neither are the rest of my girls.

THOMAS GRAHAM GANS-----THE STATES RAINY DAY FUND IS JUST THAT FOR EMERGENCYS (OUR DUMB LEGISLATORS), WHO DON'T SEE A DOLLAR THEY CAN'T SPEND ARE SURELY TO BLAME FOR OUR CURRENT CRISIS....THEN THEY HAVE THE "BIG BRASS ONES" TO GIVE THEMSELVES A 36% RAISE (LIKE THEY DESERVED IT). THEY SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A 36% PAY CUT INSTEAD OR ABOLISHED THEMSELVES COMPLETELY.....

AS FOR OUR "POINTLESS HURRICANE FUND"-----YOU HAVE OBVIOUSLY NOT OWNED A HOUSE AND HAVE HAD TO FILE A CLAIM FOR HURRICANE DAMMAGE????? YOU THEN HAVE NOT HAD TO FIND AN INSURANCE COMPANY (AFTER THE GREAT MIGRATION FROM HURRICANE INSURERS IN HAWAII---REMEMBER INIKE AND IWA)TO INSURE YOUR HOUSE OR GET A MORTAGAGE (IT REQUIRES INSURANCE) TO BUY ONE??????? THEN IF YOU COULD FIND A COMPANY, YOU WERE "FORCED" TO PAY 5-10 TIMES THE PREVIOUS PRICE FOR 20% OF THE PREVIOUS COVERAGE (IF YOU WANTED MORE COVERAGE YOU PAID MULTIPLES MORE FOR IT.......

THIS FUND BECAME THE "LAST RESORT FUND" FOR THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TRYING TO GET HURRICANE INSURANCE....GET IT?????

THIS IS NOT FREE MONEY, DO YOU KNOW THAT EVEN NOW, IF YOU LIVE TOO CLOSE TO A BEACH, WATER OR OTHER AREAS PRONE (MORE POSSIBILITY) TO DAMAGE YOU ARE LUCKY TO GET HURRICANE INSURANCE AT ANY PRICE.....

ON TOP OF ALL THE "KAKA" ANYONE HAS TO GO THROUGH TO BUY HURRICANE INSURANCE "THERE IS AN AUTOMATIC PERCENTAGE DEDUCTABLE TO ANY POLICY" THAT THE HOMEOWNER MUST COME UP WITH IN CASH BEFORE REPAIRS ARE DONE.....

DON'T GET ME STARTED WITH RENTERS, THATS ANOTHER STORY......

PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE WRITING ANY MORE BUBBLES!!!!!!!!!!

Still from kaneohe...

AARP is a shill for the Democratic Party and Obamacare. It has sold out its membership, telling them what they should support instead of attempting to find out what they do support and then representing that position. They are firmly in the pocket of the administration and its socialist policies. Check their web site. They are happy to tell you what to think, but in no cases provide a means to poll their membership.

Oh hun, that's exactly what they told us at the last NRA rally. Good thing we didn't shoot Michael Steele on the way in or we'd have lost our speaker.*wink*

If this proposed healthcare, which unfortunately just passed the house, is righteous and supportable, why is it hidden from view and voted on behind closed doors on a weekend? Answer, because it would never stand the test of public scrutiny. Not even the 72 hours worth that Pelosi lied about (adamantly) giving the american public to review any such bill prior to a vote. 2010 can not come fast enough for me. That is when the american public will vote the arrogant leaders from both parties out the door.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Capricorn

You'll have difficulty finding equilibrium in your emotional life at the moment; try to control the impulsive side of your character. At work, your usual powers of intuition will be clouded. Fits of feverishness may bother you and break down your energy. If you can get out into the countryside for a walk, you'll feel much better.
