Hahah! Ahhhh... you people make me laugh. The best solution to a financial crsis, one where nobodu loses their job, and people sue. I me mine! You know, if you raised the GET 1% and gave that money to schools we'd have our kids going to Harvard. But don't do that! It's anti-American to pay taxes! I no give wat mine!!! Hahahah! Live in your own ignorant misery.

For me, I like the toilet. I like to think about what it has done for me in the past and what it will do for me in the future.

You should know, you Captain Crook hot dog eating, Shintani diet avoiding, sitting under the shade fast food watching....

But, seriously.....this is WRONG...

UNBELIEVABLE!

Kinda like all the asian import cars you see clogging up Honolulu streets, you know the Toyotas, Mitsubishis, Nissans, and every thing else the "local" immigrant descendants sink their cheapskate chinsy cash into buying, which foreign owned corporations siphon that cash out of our national economy, contributing to the near economic collapse we are on the verge of......

yeah, when the whole thing folds under such intense pressure....then they going ask, like Poi been posting:

Why? mommy Why?

Hawaii DESERVES to go broke for allowing this to occur and then, not doing anything about it REAL.

I would really enjoy seeing the collapse of the Hawaii Employment Retirement Fund too... and it disappear like these HSTA teachers that should also be fired, tarred and feathered, along with Lingle, Bennett, DOE and their stupid BOE...

The Courts just felt that it was time that the Legislative & Executive branch of government actually do their JOB, instead of the Judicial branch making all the calls.(Cannot think ,or what?)

Judges have to have an impartial and unbiased decision based on the facts and not emotions. The letter of the law dictates that.
It is the parents responsibility to make sure their children get a proper education.
Even without the furloughs, public schools in Hawaii have some of the most unmotivated kids!
That is the parents fault, boo hoo now that you have to be a parent and raise your kids for one extra day a week. You should be happy that your kids are away from peer pressure, bad influences and temptations.
Be a damn parent, raise your kids and teach them well.
Well said!!!

Tax revenues are down even more than we thought so get ready for many more furloughs.

Team relationships and efforts work tremendously well at the moment. Why fly solo if you don't need to?
