I'm glad Colt didn't win... Historically the Heisman Trophy winners have been relatively meaningless in the NFL (especially the quarterbacks). Who was the last "significant" QB that won the Heisman? Roger Staubach - 1963.
I'm not concerned about Colt... He's the man! He'll shine with the Warriors in the Sugar Bowl and continue his reign in the NFL!

No problem with Tim Tebow being selected as the Heisman Trophy winner. He's proven to be worthy of such an honor this year. 1st in history to score 20+ TD's rushing and passing against the lauded SEC Defenses is a very impressive accomplishment. 51 total TD's is hard to ignore, especially considering that he's still an underclassmen.

Congratulations to him for a job well done.

They are all winners but one goes home with the award. When watching the telecast, we should be proud to have someone from Hawaii represent us. I believe the UH should honor Colt and his accomplishments but naming a street on campus,

Tebow is a good QB. can he repeat next two years? just got to see what happens , but anyways , good luck to him. well, off to the sugar bowl we go...hope to have a big paina over there...

No can! How come like dat. With all of his stats Tebow could not bring his team to a better record with 3 losses, could not bring his team to the conference championsip, and couldn't bring his team to a BCS bowl. In last years Heisman race look at his Stat, they were mind boggling with tons of records broken and yet he did not win it then. Why look at just the personal players stats now. Ah come on.

Colt not being picked has more to do with how Hawaii itself is treated than anything else. Unless there is an earthquake or a tragedy here, Hawaii is not treated like we are a part of the 50 United States. Without the right amount of National press, a person doesn't get selected for much. That's ok, Colt did Hawaii proud anyways.

Tebow won the Heisman based on his stats of rushing and passing td because Florida did lose 3 games. Last year Colt broke the NCAA record of td passing in a year so why didnt he win the Heisman last year. Last year Troy Smith won the Heisman because he played on the undefeated Ohio St. team, and yet this year Colt leads the only undefeated team in the nation and finishes 3rd. Talk about being unfair!

Tebow has two more years to win it, not to mention take his team back to the top! We all know that it would be foolish for him to turn pro next year, he's coming back! I don't know, voters need to consider the fact that Tebow will be back and has great chances on winning it again.

i would also like to see the reason tebow got it over brennan. tebow is a freak, yes, but he still had 3 losses, brennan's numbers weren't as spectacular, but they were still great by college QB standards and did go undefeated. not to mention, brennan put up freak numbers last year w/ 3 losses (finished 6th in voting!) and the guy that won (troy smith) went undefeated w/ good, but not great, numbers...oh well, whatever...as long as hawaii beats georgia...

When you listen to espn and the rest of the college coaches they interviewed they all praised Tim Tebow as if he was the winner already. Brennan being chosen as a finalist was the farthest he would get from the beginning. When they compared stats with Brennans and Tebows they always would leave out important stats. Like Hawaii has not lost a game and was undefeated compared to Florida who was 9 and 3. Also strength of schedule was always mentioned. Hawaii took care of its schedule going undefeated, if Tebow was so good how come his team didn't go undefeated? Our AD tried to get harder teams to play with no takers, because they knew that losing to Hawaii would effect them like how Appalachian State did to Michigan if they lost. They always use terms that they would be undefeated if they had a schedule like Hawaii had but Ohio State didn't have much of a schedule either but they're not questioning their schedule yet advance them all the way to the championship game even without going undefeated? Mel Kuyper Jr. always had a bad thing to say about Hawaii and quarterback Brennan. In fact I think he was the one who started the talk about a systems quarterback. Hawaii played teams of its conference who knew everything about Hawaii's defense and offense and was no new to Hawaii's prolific offense with Brennan running it's system. We also dethroned last years champ Boise State who went undefeated last year. Then Pac 10 Washington from out of our conference. The Hawaii Warriors and it's quarterback Colt Brennan did everything humanly possible to fight through adversity. They said we wouldn't go undefeated, they said we would not get past Boise State, They said that we would not even beat Washington a low ranking Pac 10 team? They even was afraid of Brennan winning the Heisman trophy so they would give more of the negative publicity to Hawaii, it's schedule, and it's quarterback Colt Brennan. Our job is not finish for this miracle team. We have one more game for Hawaii and our special quarterback Colt Brennan. We need to go undefeated and beat the Georgia Bulldogs and shock the NCAA doubters of why we think we are the team of destiny.
