I thought a witness had stated
she saw Masumi getting into Lankfords truck at the Foodland store?HE has lied all along.Lankford under sworn statement says he never met or
had been in contact with Masumi. Why only now after all this time he decides to tell a story?See what sitting in jail for hours day after day can do.Wilkenson should also goto jail along with Lankford for his utter disrespect for for Masumi Watanabe. If the Jury believes this Made for T.V story that Lankford and Wilkenson is putting out.I've got beach front property in
Nevada I'd like to sell them
for really cheap

Why would she jump from his truck? Why didn't he call for help? I believe he is not telling the truth. He killed her...he knows it...so be honest with yourself...bring peace to your soul

If any of this story is true, I believe when Lankford turn off Pupukea road, Watanabe thought a possible rape scenerio or threat was in progress otherwise there was nothing to be afraid off. Sounds horrific.

Poor, innocent girl. He killed her. Tried to cover it up. Lied about it then. Probably lying about how it happened now. Important point: He did it. Even if his fabricated story was true, he and society deserves at the very least for him to spend the rest of his life in jail without possibility of parole.

WHAT A BUNCH OF RIDICULOUS LIES!
Lankford is a murderer. Wilkerson is a liar, too... he should be charged with assisting Lankford in covering up the crime!
The evidence fits the story alright...that Lankford murdered Masumi.
And his story sounds like something he would fabricate when he's backed into a corner. Too late!

He hit her with his truck. She dies. He puts her in the back of his truck and goes back to work. He covers up her murder. He denies ever seeing her. He doesn't listen to pleas from her family to reveal where she is until he gets caught in all his lies and gets put on trial. He doesn't allow her family to at least have closure. GUILTY OF MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE, YOUR HONOR!

Man I can't believe what I was watching last night on the news. Does he think anyone is going to believe that story, he needs to man-up and be accountable for his actions. May God have mercy on his soul!

He hits her hard enough so her arm cracked the windshield and spun her around??? Then she leaps from the truck going 40 mph??? How clever does Lankford and Wilkerson think they are? They are both GUILTY!
Did anyone determine if the windshield was cracked from inside or outside?

This is why lawyers are looked at as the scum of the earth. Wilkerson is trying his very best to help Lankford get away with murder. It makes me sick.

The lawyer is obligated to defend the guy. pretty good story, actually. The murderer couldn't make up that B.S. on his own. Now for a short rope, a tall tree, and hope we don't have a die-hard liberal on the jury.
