So where's "Appalled in Hawaii" now? So much for his/her theory that there "wasn't even a suspicion" that Lankford committed the previous assault. Read the judge's words: There probably was an assault, and Lankford probably committed it.
And no...he's not going to "mellow out in 20 years," either. Thanks to the police and prosecutors, a serial offender has been taken off the street.

During the trial Carlise was prohibited from using the 2006 assault case. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise: now he can, as well as use other things that weren't known to show that Lankford has a violent history.
