Kirk Langford has used his Hauoli Termite truck before in trying to entice another young women for the purpose of rape and assaut, He aslo has a domestic violence background along with cruelty to animal charges.. How can the mangement of Hauoli keep him as a employee when he has been acuused the first time although not charged should have rung a bell, along with domestic violence charges. He must deal with customers who let him into thier homes and should have known by his record that as thier employee was a risk to the public and if Masumis parents sue in a civil court should hold Hauoli partly responsible for death. He should never be freed again for what he has done and should spend the rest of his sick life behind bars where the inmates will not exactly be receptive

Would you want this guy around your daughter ?

Would you trust this guy around your cat ?

Everytime you see a Hauoli pest truck, what do you think about?

Lankford is serial. He gets off tormenting and victimizing. Spare us the agony.

For now there is hope that Hawaiis juducial system will do the right thing, but I bet we will all be disappointed and betrayed again by light sentencing. ( ie, your honor my client has agreed to plead guilty to the jay- walking charge, in exchange for the murder charges being dropped) if that happens the judge should be brought up on charges, we shall see

If he is a serial. A bullet is a lot cheaper than feeding/housing/caring this sorry excuse of a human. To think taxes are used to extend this thing's life is about as disgusting as what he did.

That is a real profile of a serial killer; torturing and killing of small animals, and a history of violence to humans. By the killer’s own admission he is responsible for the death of a person. Put that demon where it belongs.

It's just shiit luck that the information about the previous assault will get to the jury in our screwed up "rules of evidence" system. A better lawyer than Wilkerson (a better charlatan that is) might have got Lankford off with some sort of manslaughter charge, in which case the extended sentencing part of the trial wouldn't apply.

The Hauoli pest company sure did get a lot of free advertising out of this deal.

I wonder how many other women are buried out there under the full moon?

Halawa Inmates are salivating like crazy now, you can count on it.

I understand the merits of giving everyone the benefit of the doubt but I recall how several people were criticizing other posters for calling Lankford a sexual predator.

Awareness, not denial and complacency, will keep you safer and enhance your chances of becoming a victim.

Human predators are exactly like their counterparts in the animal kingdom. They scan the herds for the weak and unaware and avoid the alert and confident.

Help the police help you and take personal responsibility for your safety.

The Honorable Judge Laulau:

Mr. Lankford, the punishment for your crime will be as follows:
Prison uniform will consist of a prison issued t-shirt with the words "Eddie too scared to go!"
written on the back. This must be worn 6 days a week, on Fridays any mu'u mu'u of your choice.
If you are around after 50 years, the parole board may consider parole in Waimanalo. They will then issue you a new "Eddie too scared to go!"shirt. As stated before, on Fridays any mu'u mu'u of your choice.

Cased closed!

I agree a bullet is cheaper but having him remain in prison for many, many years will punish him mentally. He will be confined in prison knowing that won't work a the termite company or any other place and that he will loose all pleasure of living outside of the prison walls. That is torment and mental anguish which he deserves. I'll pay taxes for that.

This guy is getting exactly what he deserves. Even if you give him the benifit of the doubt and it started out an accident. When he threw her away like garbage all bets were off.
Now we find out that he has this in his history. I dont even want to know what he does to animals. Score one for the judicial system this guy is lucky to get life with out parole
He should get death penalty for what he did to Masumi and her family and what he continues to do by not telling them where their daughter is.

He won't tell anyone where Masumi's body is because her body would confirm she didn't die the way he says she did.

My guess is the reason the victim and witnesses failed to identify him in the '06 assault case was because he wore a wig to cleverly conceal his blond military style hair cut... Don't need a rocket-scientist to figure this out.
