Man who shot out trespass suspect's car tire pleads to violation

Why wasn't the car owner charged? Certainly, lending a car to thieves to do a crime is just as bad as lending them a gun.

If anyone should pay restitution to the car owner, it should be the lowlife thief who borrowed it to use in the comission of the crime.

This is how a good law abiding citizens efforts are rewarded by the community he his business in. The cops are useless as usual, they show up after the fact and arrest the wrong person.

I would have shot him in the face.

The police are just mad that they can't catch as many theives as the man has. If he didn't shoot the tire the cops wouldn't know who to arrest.

Thank you all for your support of this great man. You have defended, rightly so, a patriotic, peaceful, and law abiding man. No business owner should ever have to allow criminals to run roughshod over his/her livlihood to wait for the authorities to show up 1 hour later. Hopefully as a result, the state will be forced to create a barracks closer to where the Honeoye community does business. Maybe then one of our finest citizens and his family will not have to subject themselves to prison time in defense of his and other fellow townsmen's livlihood.
