the owner beat down a 70 yr old man because he ask for kid meal. he hit the old man knocking him down and kick him 2 time. the old man did nothing but ask for the meal,was sent to hosp for broken jaw,ribs,head injury. please do not ask for kid meal would not be worth getting hurt.

Did the police arrest the owner for assault and battery?

This has to be a joke.Tell me this isn't trye.If it is this man needs to serve lots of time doing hard time!!!

the ld man did do something other than ask for a kid meal he cussed out the owner before anything happened. if he cussedme out i would have hit him too.

Patron it does not matter if the old man cussed the owner or not. he was a old man and he did not deserve to be beaten. That was terrible and I hope that the owner has to pay in every way possible. I was in business and had issues with customers from time to time and that is no way to handle it. I will not be patronising the place any longer and trust me i was in there every day. And alot of other people feel the same way that i do. I hope his actions put him out of business. He should have the same thing done to him. And if you think that this was right then you need a good A$$ thrashing as well.

who was the 70 y/o patron ? Not that it really matters, IF he was cussing the owner, they should have called the law and had him escorted out.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should the owner attacked the patron !
The customer may not always be right, But there are civil ways to handle them, beating is not one of them!

there is two r three old men that eat at that place that could slap him around good and make him like it, but he know who they r and will not try anything.ron young has done and ask him outside and he would not go.

well I know for a fact that Drury has been notified. They are not happy that anyone leasing there property would act that way. With any luck they will cancel the lease. Lets see how good the Drury Corporation is.

i am friend of drury and got a call asking be if i new about it and what happen,i told what i saw and that i will be a witness in court for the old man.8 other people gave statements and will be witness.

Owner was not fined by city. charges are goin to be filed thru state. john needs to get mitch out of there.

That fight not the frist fighting there, another bigger fight when a black guy and his family complained of their food. The brothers[owners] and that hot-headed cousin of theirs came out and began fighting the father, they fought all over the dining room forcing folks dining there to run out the back. Police came out to that fight too and the Drearys said if there was another fight they would close it up [wink,wink]

So Mich and Jon, they've been warned before by Drearys, but Drearys like that big lease they charge, let's see what happens.

yes the old man did not deserve to be beat like that and yes i would have hit him as well
for cursing me and plus the old man was drinking
and to he was protectin his 25 year old son that just stood there and done nothing but watch.
and no he is not mentally he just got a learning problem.and it was just not over a kids meal either.

To all the people on here that stir this mess around can find out what really happened and then post about it on Topix. The old man and his son wanted a child's spaghetti. The owner tolled the man Jerry) he couldn't serve child's orders to adults. That led to an altercation which Jerry said "come hit me you motherf*****)so the owner walked around the counter did so and knocked the older man to the ground and kicked him once and walked away. The owner was arrested and paid bail for $525.00 and release. Before you take any sides to this story be informed that the older man and his son have been tolled not to come back to the restaurant, due to their behavior and sexually explicit language towards the waitresses 2 times and have repeatedly asked the owner to come back, and he has done so. The owner has 2 of his daughters working as waitresses and have witness their rude behavior and explicit language first-hand. So if your on here saying "he should be shot" or "send them back" like most of you. Wouldn't you like to beat that old man up too if those were your daughters?!
