Typically, I hate it when people flame the Transcript for just reporting on stuff that's local. I understand it's a local paper and feel good stuff beats the serious, depressing stuff that everyone complains about on these forums anyway. But seroiusly, I think this story is run every year! Who gives a crap anymore? My condolences to Ms. Hubredeu, who I'm sure was forced to write this drivel by everyone's favoriate Barrett-loving editor.
Thank You Stew

I can already predict Mondays front page picture...the kids at the game at the end of the dugout with dad looking down at them in his uniform. Can anyone see that or something else?

Seriously, would you rather read about drug dealers, accidents, fires, robberies, business closings? The days we don't have this kind of news, are good news for all of us.

Don't like the news, make them yourselves. Do something relevant that impacts our communities in positive ways. That would be news. "People stopped complaining and finally started doing something relevant for themeselves and others".

That's no the point! This family has had more inches of print over the years than the war in Iraq and high gas prices combined. The point is there are more stories out there maybe these reporters should find them and I don't mean any of the fires, robberies, business closings etc. I agree but the Levesque's. Who cares!!! Move on they don't live here anymore.

Good one.

If you know about a good story going on, contact them, most of the time they don't hesitate on it.

On the other hand, I would suggest to the Transcript that in those occasions when there are no "big news" they could publish bios or interviews about some of our noteworthy residents. This would help to dissipate some of the well widespread misconceptions about NA and would bring much needed pride to our citizens.

While some of these residents are not famous in Hollywood style, they made contributions in some areas in and outside the Berks. There are many writers and artists in Adams and North Adams. MCLA professors, a Williams physicist, there is Rockwell, some successful business owners. I was pleasantly surprise to learn that a contributor of Motley Fool lives in NA becuase I like the tone of the website. The Executive Director of Berkshire County Regional Employment Board is also a NA resident. These are the only ones that come to my mind but there are many others. Just a suggestion.

Absolutely, I agree with you, resident, 100%. There are hundreds of people of which The Transcript could report on. But they are directed what news they can can print by a higher authority and it ain't God. They also could do a little in depth reporting and making some breaking news stories in they just dug a little and weren't spoon fed info. I suggest they check current political statements against those six months to a year ago and call our politicians and their inconsistencies and well lies.

N. Adams is a beautiful place but I can't say that about some of the people who made those mindless comments about the Levesques. You ALL must be very sad and unhappy people to not see beyound your own stupidity and small minds. If any of you know Chad and Jody, you will know they are good people. Chad as a police office in N.Adams was a fair officer. Those who gave negetive comments must have had a run in with him as an officer and found yourself on the other side of the law. PEOPLE get a grip. Don't be judgemental and judge all by a few. I'm so sorry that most of you feel that celerbrating a mile stone in these three little one's life is offensive. I feel sorry for you! Party on little one's!!!!!

I can't believe that people are actually complaining about the small article in the paper about the Levesque's. How do you think this makes the family feel reading these comments? They didn't seek out the paper. The paper came to them. Jody and Chad are not attention seekers.
They're good people and a good family.

If you don't like it- write to the reporter and complain.

It's nice to finally read something in the paper that's good. Who wants to read about rapists, murderers, robberies, and etc... all the time?

I can't believe that this is how you treat one of your own. What a shame!

I can't belive the complaining that has gone on here regarding the story on the Levesque triplets. How do you think the family feels about the rude comments that were made? But I have a feeling none of you care! Chad still has family in North Adams. Maybe they wanted to read about the kids. Who knows! Is this how you treat one of your own? What a shame!!! So what if they no longer live there. Maybe it's good that they moved if this is the way people feel about them.

It's a small feel good story. Who wants to read about rapists, murderers, robberies, and drug addicts all the time? Not me.

If you don't like what the reporters are reporting- become one and you can write what you want.

I really don't think that the clueless reporters suddenly thought lets call the Levesque's and see what they are up to. And when they did, Oh my God what timing the family is coming back to NA. And dad is gonna coach ( that would be assistant coach, another part of the sensationalism)against the Steeplcats. What luck, time to play the lottery there Jenny, and you might never have to work again. I am sure either Chad or Jody called the paper, that's what they are all about. If you put yourself in the media spotlight then don't be mad when someone complains. Can't you just hear Kevin's voice warming up as he invites the kids out onto the field for a round of applause, come on.
I know for a fact that Chad and Jody didn't call the reporter. She's (the reporter) been keeping tabs on the family since the first article. What do you have against Chad and Jody anyway? Leave their children out of it too! So what if the kids get invited out onto the field. It's where these kids are from. They should be proud of where they come from but with attitudes like yours and some others- who wants to admit to being from North Adams.

Do you realize how rare triplets are? I'm sure that their aren't too many in N.A. and that's why the reporter chose to do the story.

Let it go!
look out
