Elizabeth Olten-Rumors

i have heard a variety of rumors concerning her death, her killer, and who the girl is that killed her. but what i am wondering is what everyone else has heard. for example, i have heard that the grave was dug before hand, that this "juvenile" choked her and then slit her throat, and that she was "goth". my daughter goes to a jc elementary school and some of this i have heard from her so i am trying to prepare myself for anything else that is going around. thanx.

What you have heard from your daughter, according to my knowledge, is pretty accurate. I don't know the details of the choking situation, but supposedly the grave was dug beforehand and the girl responsible did dress very "goth". To me, it sounds as though the incident was pretty pre-meditated, but of course (and fortunately), I don't have to be the one to make that judgment-call. Anyway, the information given to me by my mother pretty accurately supports what you received from your daughter.

...And even with all this to try to wrap our minds around, there is the teacher who committed suicide, supposedly because he had information about the killers "mindset" and did not report it. PLUS rumors of HOW the 15 year old "continued" afterward is gross. Everyone in Middle MO needs to get counsellors for their kids and themselves to try to come to grips with it all.

The grandparents who tried to help raise their grandchildren were wise to leave the area right away. Imagine what they and Elizabeth's friend, the young sibling of the killer is going through!

They probably will not get an impartial jury out of Jeff City by the time this goes to trial, but I do hope this can be done in Adult Court, wherever it is tried.

My prayers go out especially to Elizabeth's Mother, and also to EVERYONE affected by this in the Middle MO area. Rest in the arms of the Lord, Little Angel.

The teacher's name is Bill Currie, 66. From what I understand, he had some information that he had not reported concerning the girl who killed Elizabeth. Here is a basic article about his death. He was very popular with the students.

Just as it is totally irresponsible to tell someone of someone's death by text messaging them while they are in a meeting or in class or out shopping, etc., it would be totally irresponsible to post THOSE kinds of RUMOR details on a public website.

EVERY detail of EVERY rumor does not need to be plastered here in these comments.

miz mags i wasnt saying this wasnt a horrible thing that happened, i recently lost my son a year ago unexpectedly so PLEASE dont preach to us about what should or shouldnt be put on here. i posted the question because my 11 year old daughter is coming home ASKING QUESTIONS because these are the things shes hearing at school and i am trying to prepare myself for whatever is being said as this goes on. i would rather have her talk to me instead of questioning a child her age. if people are taking this post in any other way MIZ MAGGS thats YOUR ISSUE NOT MINE. i am a responsible parent who is trying to look out for my very impressionable daughter that is trying to WRAP HER HEAD AROUND what happened to one of her friends.i want to be prepared for whatever is said next.

Please don't feel preached to or anything like that, not by me anyway. As my reply said...I was addressing Dokkan in regard to his wanting more details that I felt comfortable giving in this venue. I wasn't meaning to be preachy at all, even to Dokkan, but thinking they might be young, I wanted to explain why I wasn't going to go into any more detail on that part of my comment.

You parents of young children are the ones who have the toughest job right now. Bless your hearts. In my own way, I was trying to prepare you and other parents for the additional details that I have heard rumors about. They are as I said, GROSS. Horrible and very sick.*I* am not going to post details of THIS sick a rumor, just in case it isn't true. I hope the killer's trial is in ADULT court, and not moved out of the county. We adults deserve to hear the truth about what happened, and that is most easily done if her trial stays local.

No, concerned mom, I was not intending ANYTHING negative towards you. You have my admiration for wanting to help your child through this by getting as much information as possible, but some things are so shocking that they cannot be UN-TOLD, especially to a child's mind. I would like to find out that the really GROSS RUMOR I heard is false.

I hope your child has the opportunity to learn the difference between truth and rumor, and how some people are so hungry for attention that they will make up as if it was truth and spread it around, not knowing the damage they are doing to the minds of young people.

The news said Elizabeth was lured back to the house, so was she killed in the the house? Where was the play mate when Elizabeth was murdered?

This is three videos she did with her brothers trying to make them do stunts to hurt themselves.That was two years ago,why didn't anyone in her school or family catch this behavior?She needs to be tried as an adult and put away.
