I believe he was in prison for awhile -- conned money out of some agency he was a bookkeeper for. Is he still in prison or do you know what he is up to these days?

I also believe he is married to an older lady by the name of Darlene.

I was going through some old things and came across newspapers with the story of embezzlement. I was wondering if he is still in prison, and if the money he took has been paid back to the organization?

I do not recall seeing any followup to this in either the Jeff City or Columbia papers.

No -- his name is Robert Thomas Wise II.

He has worked at the Fulton State Mental Hospital, a local hotel in Jeff City, and now runs AAA tax and accounting. That is the information that I have been able to come up with. Still wonder why the media never followed up on him as well as some others back at one time when they all went to jail for embezzlement.
