As one of Uncle Joe's niece's,(one of many) I have fond memories of my uncle. We so seldom saw him when we were growing up because he was traveling with his "chalk talks", but it was always a big occasion when we did see him. He was quick with a hug and a joke, always a joke. He married my husband and me just before Ashley opened. This was an extremely busy time for him, but he took time out of his schedule to marry us. To watch him celebrate a mass was truly inspiring. He could sum up the gospel without wasting a single word. I love my Uncle Joe and am very proud to call him my uncle.
