PEOPLE, get a gun, if you scared of guns, get a taser, pepper spray, even WASP SPRAY, it works better than pepper spray, wasp spray has a range of at least 20 feet, enough room to save you from being a victim

Great Idea, but wasp spray doesn't come in small containers, none that I've seen anyway, may be difficult to carry in ones purse.. but could have it in the car. |

Might I suggest you actually read the article? In law enforcement terms, if they have leads as they are suggesting, they are not going to release to the public all of the particulars of who they are looking for so that the perpertrator can sit back and say 'duh, that sounds like me and then leave the jurisdiction. Details are always held back and that's why "person of interest" has come into play. I sincerely hope you are not really an investigative reporter. If so, you must work for a very sad paper or news station. |

If that is the case then they shouldn't ask for the public's help (if you read the article you would see they did) and then deny any way to recognize the suspect. They didn't give ANY description at all, much less particulars. |

i know this woman and can tell you, the man was white and she has a good description of the man which she gave to police. it is a horrid thought that this happened so close to home. for those who care to know...he was a very large, white male driving a pickup truck. she said he smelled strong of oil and grease (probably a mechanic) hope this helps

this is aweful. i told my wife if she get a flat drive on it until you are in a safe location. my heart goes out to this young lady and her family.

Its ashamed this reporter gave a description of the victim but not of the attacker. But if you got to wmctv.com they actually don't give the victims info but tell you this about the attacker "The suspect was described as white man with a beard and mustache, wearing glasses. The victim said he smelled like cigarettes and gasoline, and drove a noisy pick-up truck."
Channel 3 really needs to get a new reporter. |
