Well I am VERY disappointed that the Holland Sentinel has taken away our forum. We are currently building a new (bigger & better) forum with newspapers readers from Holland, Hillsdale, or anyone else who would like to join us.

"Ian Wilson killed it with his childish antics."

Au Contraire, Mon Fraire!
Who was the guy that wrote the e-mail to the "higher ups" at the Holland Sentinel?
How long was it AFTER that e-mail was sent that the HSF "doors" were closed?
5 minutes?
50 minutes?
Who killed what bébé de cri?

"Most of gang is now at www.suckmythumb.com ."

Well half the gang is anyways.

You have a graphic of the exit region on your suckmythumb site & expect to be taken seriously!?
I lurked at the sentinel forums and saw nothing worth wasting my time and energy on. There were about 6 people beating the same dead horse topics over and over; religion, abortion, politics, homosexuality & many racists remarks. I'm glad they killed the forums, it was no place I'd want my kids visiting. Why should they waste time & money babysitting the 6 people that used the forums?

SuckMyThumb.com has 40 members and is growing daily.

If only half of the HS forum moved to SuckMyThumb, at least it was the intelligent half. The few dimwits who did show up were summarily given the boot...including Ian Wilson, the biggest dimwit of all, who was given a second chance and still failed. He doesn't know how to conduct himself in a forum. He thinks he is participating intelligently by writing stuff like "maybe, a little, almost, I think".

Mr. Wilson:

You are correct in that a party contacted the Sentinel admins. What you left out is the reason. It was your antics, and up until that point, the admins hadn't been paying attention. After going through just a small portion of your 5000+ postings, their reaction was predictable.

I did it...alllll alone.
No help from nobody.
All by my lonesome.

I did that.

You mean the reason the "other" party contacted the Holland Sentinel Forum admin over and over?
You mean the reason the other party was posting his rants and complaints ALL OVER the HSF in topics that had NOTHING to do with his "reason" for ranting?

You mean the reason this other party (Silent Runner btw) was posting his "WHY DID YOU PULL DOWN MY POST DOWN FROM THIS SIGHT ADMIN?" in 20 point font in EVERY recent topic? Why was HE making a complete fool of himself?

You mean I left out the reason that the above mentioned party (crybaby is what we called them in kindergarten)went over the heads of the HSF admin and wrote to HSF's admins Administration.
You mean I forgot to mention the reason that this "other party" had his panties in a bunch that led to all this contact with admins of Administrations?

You mean you want me to mention that Silent Runner was "censored" a number of times by the admin. Givin plenty of warnings and censored some more...and didn't like it...and had public meltdowns and tantrums. And wrote some e-mails to some bosses of the bosses.

Is that what I should mention?

Should I also mention that THAT EXACT same thing is happening NOW at the Holland Sentinal online editions "Comment Section"?

I'll also mention that that newest moaner at the Holland Sentinal's Comment section ...be moaning about his right to Free Speech (on somebody elses private property btw..LOL) is being infringed upon...moaning the loudest...just also happens to have the user ID John Galt at the HS Comment section.
(is that you?)
(panties got ya bound?)

Who is being "censored" now who is John Galt?
Who is the loudest complainer (we called um crybabies in grade school)? Who is throwing the tantrum?

And who will be to "blame" for the HS Comment section getting yanked? That gonna be me too?
lol

It's OK...I'll take the blame...with pleasure.

No Ian, you will not bring down the HS comment section. Anarchy@home will be taking that honor...

The admins let him break all their own rules and then ban ones who quote him. So i guess the admins will be taking some of blame for this one too.

Wanna know who will be "taking down" the Holland Sentinel comment section?

Look to the author of this letter...
(and I'm SURE many many other letters just like it.)

Mr. E:

I've written you and your editor a number of times, you have never responded. The sole time your editor wrote me, she indicated I would be on moderated status in the comment section of your web site, and it would be removed if I did not commit any more "violations" at the decision of the papers IT administrators. This has yet to happen despite the fact I have done nothing in violation of any of your published rules.

I've also written a few times, complaining about my subsequent web comment section postings that where never appearing and did not appear to violate any of Ms. Fisher's conditions.

and on and on and on and blah blah blah

Thank you
I'm (he/she) is a complainer by nature.
So what can be done? complain, moan, raise a fuss.
You know who I (he/she) am?
I'm a business man. I know people.
I'll (he/she) will do things.
I'll make your job a pain.
I'll (he/she/Tucker/JG?) make you want to make your job easier. I'll make you yank the comment section of your fine and dandy (and biased) newspaper.

and lets not forget this classic...
(paraphrased of course)
"I hope they shut it down. I'll do everything in my power to make them close down the Holland Sentinel Forums. If I can't enjoy myself there NOBODY can"

My rants on the HS forum were a direct response to the inaction by the administration of that mismanaged forum.

Sane rational complaints about the activities of Ian on the HS forum were routinely ignored by the administration.

When the administration ignores complaints of rule-breaking and allows fellow fags to get away with what it won't allow the average forum member to get away with, the only recourse by the average forum member is to either go away or to create the most disturbance he can on the forum. I chose the latter.

So, although Ian the Dimwit can be correctly credited with bringing down the Holland Sentinel forum, I take some pride in the fact that I pushed enough buttons to help make it happen.

A forum such as the Holland Sentinel had cannot exist for long. It will savage itself into oblivion...and that's what happened.

At the www.SuckMyThumb.com forums we don't allow morbid creatures like Ian to control the board.(Like I've said, Ian has twice been kicked off SuckMyThumb because of his misbehavior. He won't be allowed back on.)

SR,

Railing against the admin is not going to help anyone. You have a beef, send them an email. Personally, I think you give Ian far more power by responding and acting as you are than a simle ignore. You point to the admin as part of the problem. I suggest we have a measure of control by ignoring. Maybe its just not your way of dealing with things. Unfortunately, I think you may pay a heavy price. Your choice.

P.S. The title is still highly objectionable, please consider retitling it. Thank you.

Mr. Wilson:

The primary stated reason I was moderated from the Holland Sentinel Comment section was because of profanity. And while it is true I posted "profanity", what is not stated is I was quoting verbatim "Anarchy@home" in doing so.(and it barely profanity, a nickname for a donkey which anarchy@home was calling me).

Not only hasn't "anarchy@home" been put on moderated status, the very root post I quoted, "profanity" and all, remained. This is not a "forum" we speak of, but a direct extension of the editorial section of a newspaper. My moderation had nothing to do with "profanity", it had to do with the fact I was questioning the reporters in their fact gathering, or lack there of. You saw me on the old forums, despite your dreams here, you know I always conducted myself in a professional manner, even if we disagreed.

A free press can be a benefit to a community, on the other hand, a press that has an agenda, in this case Pro-Obama, Pro-abortion and big government, as the Holland Sentinel adminstrators have, that at the same time squashes voices of dissent, can be a great harm. I doubt "I could bring it down" but I would be happy to with the agenda I am seeing from them. Posters are censored that try to counter the big government agenda.

How is the job hunt coming and are you back in Michigan?

Ian, if your queer friends in the HS forum admin had done their job, the HS forum would still exist.

You and those weird friends of yours are the reason it no longer is available.

By the way, if anyone offers a forum for people to use, people are not imposing upon that person's property rights when they use that forum. Use your goddamned brain, dimwit.

Hey, let's continue this conversaton on SuckMyThumb.com .

Oh. I forgot. You can't. Hahahahaha.

Arrogant and cocky? No. Like I said before, I speak my mind. I thought that's what forums were for.

Silent Runner worries about Silent runner's behavior. If someone violates the rules, report them.

YOU, Silent Runner, posted it YOURSELF nearly 11 times...give or take. Remember that now?
lol
SilentRunner wrote:
I sent an email message to Peter Esser, publisher of the Holland Sentinel, last night expressing my concern about the way the forum is being administered and the fact that the forum administration is feeding personal information about me (us?) to Ian Wilson.

I signed the email with my real name, address and phone number and asked him not to reveal that information to anyone on his staff. We'll see how well that works.
Guess what...it worked.
Forum Closed.

Ian,
If I lend you my car, can I turn around and call the police and complain that you stole it?

Of course, not. It's the same with a forum Because the owner is lending it to us (that is, he has solicited users of the forum and has given permission to them to use his forum), he has no complaint when we use it according to the rules he has set.

It doesn't take a lamebrained lawyer to understand that. But, of course, maybe you do need someone to explain it to you.

On the HS forum you didn't obey the rules, but yet you got away with it because of your bedroom buddies who work for the Sentinel.

You're a piece of sht, fellow. I hope you stay in North Carolina and don't stink up Michigan.
