The biggest problem the CPS board has is "appointed" members. The board has been used for years as stepping stone to higher office. Thats just like our tax and waste city council. We would be better off with VACANT seats on the board, but that is the tip of CPS waste. The amount of personel vice principal and above is foolish. the stdent body is 1/3 rd of what it was in 1977, but high schools that had 1 principal and 1 vice principal in 77 now have 4 or 5 vice principals. Thats a 6 figure salery for each one. With a 100 plus page directory of personel principal and above , a blind man could see whre money is wasted and rubberstamped by the board

Steward and Perkins can't even fill out a simple petition for election - how can we expect them to watch over $1 billion per year in spending? Mike Wiles will be a welcomed breath of fresh air on the board.

The school board president (Carol Perkins)- who doesn't even have a degree, isn't smart enough to get on the ballot? How about we make her a "write-out" candidate?
Didn't the Dispatch just have a story about her misusing her computer, emails, and telephones while working at COTA? I believe she was suspended for a week without pay!
Why in the world would anyone want to write-in her name?
Vote these losers out.

Obvious that we are not seeing the best and BRIGHTEST picked by the board to assume vacant seats. It's not rocket science to complete a petition with sufficient valid names.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Cancer

No one can accuse you of being a wallflower today! The modern cowboy or cowgirl has a tendency to shoot from the lip and you won't be afraid to tell it like it is. Your response will be quick, and your timing near perfect. If you don't accomplish what you set out to do this morning by the end of the day, it won't be for lack of trying. Getting an 'A' for effort is sometimes better than facing the test.
