Gas in Holdenville

Can ANYONE honestly tell me why gas is so freaking high in Holdenville compared to Seminole (which averages anywhere from .15 to .30 cents cheaper per gallon).... and WHY does Citgo always go UP on their prices late Wednesdays or early Thursday, then go back down on Mondays???

It's one of the great mysterys of the universe. I was told by a local retailer it is because of transportation costs. I think it so they can profit from people leaving town to shop in other places.

It is ridiculous!!!!

I know for a fact that it cost 1/2 a cent per gallon to get I tanker load of fuel delivered to holdenville so transportation cost have nothing to do with it.

It's not citgo anymore. I buy my gas at Seminole walmart most of the time. Your right you save 20 to 30 cents per gallon. If they can sell it for that so could the ones here in Holdenville, at least within a few cent.

the gas at walmart is cheaper because it has that ethonol in it. I know Davids and Wakleys doesn't, that makes them higher. J-Weezees(Citgo) has the ethonol. When they started to put ethonol they asked all the stores to sign a paper saying if they wanted it or not because the gas company would not be responsible if your tanks and such messed up or were eaten away from the ethonol.

shawnee walmart don't have ethonal and there cheaper. about 20 cents cheaper. Why would anybody sign a paper if that was the truth. I don't think that is right.

I can tell you this. I watched don wakely wait on docs at the time it was docs, he would follow suit every time docs or davids went up as quick as he can and when it went down he was always the last to bring it down bitching he was losing money.
The girls in wakelys will tell you he does that.
david bought the old conveniance store on main because they were cutting prices causing everyone to stop going to davids. they all are gouging the people here in Holdenville and like the elections people bitch but dont do a damn thing about it.

Why don't you drive the 36 miles round trip to Walmart and get it. You probably don't have anything else to do like- WORK!!!!

My wife worked at wakeleys for a few years If I said her name you all would know who she is, she worked there until she had our baby. and she said travis was right on the money about price gouging at wakeleys.

I cant say anything about wakleys but I worked at Davids when the ethonol thing was established and i seen the papers. Why do you think that Docs were shut down at the pumps so much? think about it

I use to work at Doc's and the problem with the pumps had nothing to do with ethonol. If I remember right I think David was down before too. So what was the deal with him.

The point is we are being gouged by the people here in Holdenville who run these establish ments.
they know what they are doing and there is not a thing we can do about it... so put up with it or go else where..... wakeleys is the worst of the all
Davids now own the conventance store accross from the pawnshop so what can you do about it.. nothing

One thing you can do is when we travel,fill up before returning to Holdenville..Buy all you can out of town
