First of all God dosen't need your money. But apparently Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swggert, Creflo Dollar and thousands of others do.
Second: Any idea how many millions of people have been killed in the name of religion?
And last But Not Least. and I quote. " I am Alpha and Omega, the begining and the end, I am all things to all men." Sound Familiar? So in closing , let us take a lesson, God,Yaweh,Jehovah,Allah... You get the idea !!!!
Bingo! I don't care if those idiots believe that I'm going to hell if I don't believe as they do; I just refuse to hear from them. Neither do I care if their scripture says there is only one true way; I'd toss that scripture in the garbage with contempt.

But when I see these fatboys living high on the hog, financed by the tithes of their stupid parishioners, I feel the same wrath that their Jesus did when he kicked the moneylenders out in the Temple.

My grandpa used to say that "fools build houses, and wise men live in them." That sounds like one of Solomon's proverbs. He must have tossed it back into the faces of these missionaries.

RELIGION IS NOTHING BUT A HUGE BUSINESS MAKING MILLIONS ON POOR AND/OR OLD PEOPLE THAT NEED SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN. THESE CROOKS ARE TAKING YOUR MONEY RAPING OR FONDLING YOUR BABIES AND YOU KEEP GIVING THESE JERKS MONEY.
You are 90% right about 90% of the worlds religious organizations, they might as well be a city bank on the corner street all in the name of saving your soul. Come in, hand me your money, let me tell you how to live and ha ha hope you well "friend."

But with my knowledge as being a MORMON and also of having friends in other certain religions (non Christian in fact) there are groups that are really concerned for the greater good of all, regardless of money. Money isn't the driving force in their view.

Now the MORMON/LDS church does a tremendous amount of good world-wide with the tithing money that they recieve. Money is necessary in todays world. Mormons run a world-wide welfare and assistance program, operate a missionary support, and church and temple building work. They give away free the Book of Mormon, etc.

The main thing though is that no-one in the LDS church is paid to provide thier service of sunday school teaching, being a Bishop, and myriad of other callings.
