I can't believe my eyes as I read these comments.I have walked this road called life with Michael for ten years.We have had our ups and downs but it was all worth it.Michael and Wade have been in the roofing and construction business for many years.Wade and Michael were lead astray when G.W. Cat went bankrupt and Brent summed it up nicely I couldn't have said it better, thanks Brent. Michael is a man of conviction and he will be the first to tell you he has made his fare share of mistakes.That in itself says so much about his character. It hurts my heart so bad to hear things like he is a crook and belongs in the state pen, because that is the farthest from the truth.In fact it makes me realize these certain individuals need to take a step back in time and remember when Michael had a positive and productive agenda for them.To one individual in particular Michael was there for him on a number of occasions on a personal and professional level during trials and tribulations. Michael is someone who has no intention on hurting anyone.I realize that anger and hurt gets the best of us sometimes,but remember Love covers all offences.That is what our dear Lord says in Proverbs.Keep in mind that this life is but a breath and when all is said and done our relationships are going to be all that matter.Michael loves what he does and is very good at it.Michael is one of the best in the business.His past,present,and future clients would agree.On a last note I want to say that Michael is an exceptional man both personally and professionally.I am so proud of my husband and so are his children."Truth stands the test of time and lies are soon exposed."

i work for mike and wade they rip me off and many other sales men.what about the church in ky.they had liens from the roofers to the supplyers. 30 to 40gs.great guys.when mikes not cheating on his wife. ps seen it with my own two eye.

My son spent his first summer, after graduating high school, working for Mike Friery and Wade Hicks and was ripped off pay of a small amount of $600.00.$200.00 of which bounced via a check from Wade recently. I am just so sick and tired of people taking advantage of innocent people! The cycle needs to end!!!!

Dear curious, I have $15,000.00 worth of proof. We paid Mike and Wade in full for the repairs on our home after Ike. We have since had to pay new contractors to finish the work which was not completed by Mike and Wade. We actually liked them very much but the fact is they left us hanging in the wind and will not even answer their phones. Sorry for you if you are having them do work for you.

The lies came from Mike and Wade and the truth is my husband and I are still waiting for some truth from Mike and Wade.

Don't let them near any project you have. They screwed my husband and I over. We paid them and they left us hanging. We have have to pay twice for our home to be repaired after Ike.

What a load of crap. These guys are decent guys both of them. I was on the inside, and will set the story stright. They had a company GWCAT that had 6 offices in several states, Fl, Tx, Ohio, Indy, and Kentucky. They also had been awarded a contingency contract from the government for Hurricane season after the debaucle of Katrina. They had big time investors pushing these guys to go public. They took tons of money and got them to the pink sheets, but they never made it and lost everything. They had to file bankruptcy in the spring of last year. Its public info. The bankruptcy was over 2 million and some people did get hurt, but that goes with any buisness that folds. All debt has been cleared and they have restructured under a new Company. As for Mike Friery being a con artist, what a joke. That guy is the most ligitimate guy there, hes extremely well educated and should be the guy in charge, I dont know anymore what he does. Wade was always greedy, and somewhat of an ass, but he did it to your face. They both work in Houston, and can be contacted through there site. nccquality.com now this is the truth, and all these people saying crap about them while staying anonymos are just jealous, and haters. They also have been screwed big time by real con artist who took there money, and lied constantly destroying there company. I didn't exactly love these guys, but they are way better than the crap I have read here.

Thanks for the address, we have hired a lawyer but since ncc is being sued by so many people we have little hope of seeing our money back.

Maybe you can file charges against Michael and Wade. At least they could go to Jail.

NCC was the contractor for us as well after Ike. While personable and friendly, Mike and Wade both were full of promises immediately after the storm.

The initial crew (who came from Florida) they hired for cleanup were very good but several weeks after they had finished with our house the foreman stopped by wanting to know where Michael and Wade were as the crews were still waiting for their money.

The detailed reconstruction documents were good and in the form needed by FEMA and Texas Windstorm but both Michael and Wade were very overly optimistic as to what these insurers would really pay out and made it sound like getting reimbursed would be no problem.

NCC employed many crews from around the country (we assumed these were people they had worked with previously in other disaster areas) and the work ranged from very good to below average.

As time went on the work quality slipped and we had to make repeated calls to Michael and Wade for them to get jobs finished and in the end we were just happy to have it done instead of feeling like we were back to normal (our house was under 8 ft of water). Like Linda some things were never completed and the roof which was replaced by some installer who NCC never identified had failures around the vent pipes and in another area which resulted in inside room damage.

I emailed Michael about this issue in July and he informed me that he and Wade had split and that NCC was no longer in business but that he had heard of other faulty work (he basically seem to blame Wade as Wade had taken over NCC) and that he would make good on the repairs. That was the last I heard from him.

I did find that he had started a new company called Majesty Construction that had offices where the last NCC offices were in Hitchcock Texas (NCC had several offices during the post Ike period) and he was listed as an officer. However recently his name has been removed.

We just had our roof repaired by another contractor and I will be be trying to find Michael to inform him of the amount.

We are filing charges but it can only be in civil court... the police will not file charges of theft. They also told us we must file in the county that Michael is living in. We have no idea where Wade is at this time. So as usual little help is available when average people are ripped off.
