DWI Arrest's

Has anyone ever looked at who gets prosecuted in this county? If you are not in with a certain group of people in the courthouse, you will be prosecuted to the letter of the law. If you are not white you will be prosecuted to the letter of the law. Recently some interesting facts were brought to the attention of the local newspaper editor in Karnes City. His reponse was he would look into it. Then come to find out, Walter Long determines about 99% of what is said in the local paper. The only way a change can be made is by people speaking up about the problems in local government. The worst two are at the top of our county government. The county attorney and county judge are horrible. If you are a friend of one of theirs or Walter Long, Marion Whitehead, you are not going to be prosecuted. It is a fact. Recently arrested were Brad Yeater and the insurance man Jess Williams in Karnes City, I bet you never see their names in the local county court docket. Are there any citizens that care? Is it gonna take a child, family member or friend to die at the hands of a drunk driver before this county changes. It is coming. Pray it is not your loved one that does not come home one night. Does anyone care? Thoughts?

Has anyone thought about calling LULAC or MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). Maybe with a little pressure things would change. Your county attorney is worthless though to say the least. I am surprised he has not been picked up for DUI.

He may be the same one. I knew the guy personally and he's a snake in the grass. He was working for a company named Epixtar at Epixtar.com but I just checked and his name isn't posted under management anymore. He was the Chief Operating Officer.

Karnes County has always had two different standards on DWI's.....if you are white they will tell you to just go home or they will escort you home and if you are black or hispanic you will end up in the slammer.....this has been going on forever.....it is a way of life in Karnes County.....so tell me something new!

What??? What happened with the golf club and when did this happen? When he was in high school? I am from Wheeling and know this guy's family.
