Boy dies in Hobbs; stepmother arrested

It is obvious that the only thing TSeeker advocates for is himself and his own special interests. I will bet the lawyers and judges say the same things behind his back. It is so easy being tough when you are hiding behind a fake name.

Little boy who was three played and trusted his life to this woman....perhaps she will see the pain that now hovers over others who loved him...rest, be at silent rest for you are now free of all and anything that would ever harm you again....

I don't know why she is still out of jail. I guess they will just let anyone get away with murder. Child Protective Services is the same everywhere. Just another liberal organization which is inefficient, ineffective, and answers to no one. The result is kids are vicitmized. The world would be a better place if CPS was dumped and the cops were given responsibility of looking out for kids.

I currently had another run in with Contessa. She told the HPD that she had lived with me for over a year. Now this woman is doing everything possible to try and ruin my life. What is wrong with her and why isn't she in jail?? She got a continuance until November. The woman representing her said that she did not have enough time to get her case together because the public defenders office keeps loosing people. Not the worlds problem! PUT HER AWAY! She needs to be in jail and away from normal society!! She is a danger to the public!

I agree with you someonethatcares09, watch all the kids when she is around. I hope she gets put in jail and they let the prisoners what she did and let the prisoners deal with it.. Specially the women in there that can't see there kids due to drugs, or other reasons. Just like the ladie who plamed someone else, when she drove her car in the lake, the one who drounded her kids in the bath tub. when someone walks by her and ask her why she did it. don't believe anything she said specially when she love the kids, her husband treating her, and etc.

That thing is going on "vacation" next week. "To get away from all the lies people are telling".How is it that she gets to go on vacation, spend Holidays with her family, date,able to become pregnant (God took care of that)and do about anything she wants to do. But contessa is a lier, and can get away with anything with sex. she will do anyone. that why her daughter is in good hands now with the daughters real dad.. "Julian didn't want to take a nap and was crying, so Brian went in there and Julian started screaming, then he was quite."Contessa said she went in Julian's room and "found the baby not breathing and with needle marks in his arms." Contessa believes that Brian beat Julian and then gave him drugs to shut him up. It won't be long now before that..... she's is put away and will feel the pain Julian felt. Child abusers and child killers don't last long in prison.

You know brian was at work when this happened and contessa wants someone to fell sorry for her. well i dont. the police went to brians work and got him and told him what happened. I knew contessa she use to be a guard at the prison, we were friends at one time until she lied to me. also brian is not perfect but he love that little boy. contessa is mad because brian left her because of the death of his son..the next time you talk to contessa tell her that april said hi and that i want to know why she killed him, i told her to call if she couldn't handle him and that we would come and get him. some one need to hit her like she hit him, bruises, broken arm, and bite marks.

Is she still not in prison yet? Postponed until November? At this rate the effing proceedings are going to take longer than Julian's life was. If the CPS dropping the ball on this one isn't sick enough, the way the courts work here in Hobbs would gag a maggot.

If the state were involved earlier this would never happen. All parents should submit to CYFD for random checks. It may save a child. Sometimes it does take a village.

I'm really tired of reading about innocent children being murdered by those who were supposed to love and care for them. I have a son, he's three years old, and his name is Julian as well. He is the light of my life, and I love him with all of my heart; I would never hurt him, not physically or emotionally. Why were there were so many complaints registered with CPS and nothing was done to protect this child? His death could have been prevented. Rest in peace baby angel Julian.

Lea county may drop the ball on this one, she may be acquitted because of cutbacks and lack of ADAs that have trial experience.

What about the victims!? Julian"s family? Are they now going to have "Wonderful Holidays" without some sort of justice? Herring needs to be locked up for Thanksgiving and Christmas so maybe she will feel the pain and sadness of the holidays as Julian's family will.
