Spell check wouldn't have help. "Heck" is a word. They need to have at least two people proof read their stuff.

The last four comments were posted by people that apparently have not lost a family member or close friend to a tragedy such as this. You can thank God for that. While someone may be spell checking, maybe you should do some soul searching on manners and respect.

The dead guy lived the life of an outlaw and I don't need to search my soul because of it. He had been arrested many many times because he lived that life. He just got out of prison in the past few weeks. He was a predator that was finally preyed upon. A tragedy is an accident, this killing was not an accident nor a tragedy. If he were an innocent then I would agree with you, he was not and I don't.

Shooting Kills 1, Wounds 1

HOBBS — Hobbs police say one man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting at a club.

Officers were called to Forrest’s Place early Sunday and found 38-year-old Alton Granville dead at the scene.

A police report says a second man, 28-year-old Brian Alexander, was taken to Lea Regional Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transferred to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

Hobbs police spokesman Officer Mike Stone said investigators were sorting out what happened.

The timely passing of Mr. Granville will be a great loss for the law enforcement community, particularly in southeastern New Mexico and west Texas. Fortunately there is a plethora of scum to keep the "boys in blue" busy.

Also heard it was initially a fight between some females at the club and it escaluated into what we know now which unfortunately is very little. Heard there were witnesses but they're too afraid to speak out. Can't really blame them. After all, who wants to be their next victim.

You are right, these boys cant take a good ole fasion ass whoopin neither can your brother or alton, they have both been involved in shootings in the past where they were the shooter. Its like the old saying goes, you play with fire and you will get burned.

It's not clear to me based on the words above. WHO is your brother? It would help to know so as to understand where you're coming from.

Well you are wrong, I know all the parties involved and they are all or were all turds. The guy or guys that did the shootings will also die by violence. You can take that to the bank. The dead turds had been involved in lots of gun play in the past. Serves them right. Nothing much you can do about it now. If you have kids, raise them right and keep them from the same fate as your brother and don't hate me for telling the truth. Actually, I don't give a sh$t what you think, come to think about it. You should keep hiding out in Katy so they don't shoot you too.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Taurus

Keep calm! Your emotions are becoming increasingly heightened and intense today. As a result, you're likely to take things much more seriously than usual. That's wonderful if you're involved in a hot and heavy encounter with Mr or Ms Right, but it won't be such good news if you go overboard about silly trifles. If you're doing some last-minute shopping you'll want to be as extravagant as your budget allows. Or is it a case of Budget...? What budget?
