Allsups did nothing to ensure she did not come to harm while she worked a menial job for pitiful wages...people are far more important than profits!

Sad that she died, but that is way too much money. Money doesn't fix everything, you know.
This is why as a business you have to protect yourself, desperate people with desperate attnys will take you for everything your worth if you let them. Is it a shame this happened?? of course it is, this lady was brutally killed, the killer should be strung up by his BALLLS. Allsups does not promise you if they hire you that you will have a armed gaurd with you, you know the risks, but when something goes wrong everyone goes after the deep pockets.

true todd..money rarely does any good at all in these cases..however, allsups may be forced to care for their employees better in the future..

allsups should pull out of new mexico..their prices suck anyway..

I thought I was all about the personal responsibility side of this argument.
Upon further consideration, all employers are required to provide a safe work environment. Construction workers are VERY aware how dangerous their job is. If a piece of equipment fails or a dangerous environment is created (even by another employee) the resposibility falls on the employer. Seems that should apply here, as well. |

I didn't know they were anywhere BUT NM! LOL!! |
Then all the $8 an hour people go to welfare, god forbid a profitable business exist in new mexico huh?? lol |

exactly why would they go on welfare?..plenty of jobs available...allsups is not the end all to career paths.. |
This is why N.M. is a welfare state, the people here in general are anti business.
