Ok...so when did we change the forum from Galaxy Video to Mexican immigration?

But the last two posts do make a point...most of these kids are HISPANIC, not necesarily Mexican.

They're mostly Mexican in Stone Park, it looks like, but that's not the issue......WAY off topic.... just two anti-Mexican bigots hijacking the thread to discuss their own nutty agendas.

Stone Park is a lost cause, kind of like Englewood and Humbold Park, Full of low-income, welfare sconching drug addicts. Theres no hope for this village until they start cleaning up the area. It's not an "honest business"......see the Original Post dummy. It's only there because of massive corruption and major mob influence. Never would a store be allowed to open like that, in the middle of a residential area, if it had not been for a corrupt mayor, a crooked cop, a major gangster, and some two-bit "connected" guys. That's just the facts of the matter. There's no way in any other suburb a gay backroom having / full hardcore smut peddling adult "bookstore" would be able to legally be allowed to open ANYwhere.

Like somebody else in this thread said before, the yahoos who tried to get a strip club opened on the Wchester/Broadview "border" couldn't even get past village board meeting number one. They practically got ran out of town. Only with a hugely corrupt local gov't combined with a (sadly) apathetic and unaware citizenry could a sleazebag business like that be allowed to open in the kind of location that it's in (even though, ok, the business it's doing now that it's openend is, technically legal, it's still a sh!t business. I mean, really want to tell your kids or family, Yeah business is great, we've got married men coming in like crazy to f*ck each other in the backrooms everyday, and we're moving record numbers of deepthroat "gag" videos... what a dump. Let me guess your husband used to be a frequent customer huh? This is just the opinion of one bitter and burnt out person. This business is open, its here and here to stay. Its operating within the legal boundaries of the laws laid down by both the city and state. Its not because of "crooked" politicians and the mob that this place is open. Its here to meet a demand that exists by the public at large. I'm not condoning what goes on in there, but this place is just the same as any other business like "Lovers Lane" it provides objects that are of an adult nature and are sold to people of all walks of life. You preach from your soapbox that only married men and perverts got to this place, this only shows the extent of your knowledge or the scope of your blind ignorance. This place is also visited by married couple who are into using adult videos and/or toys to make things interesting. If thats what floats their boats, then so be it. The fact that married men go in there to get blowjobs only points to the fact that the "wifey" at home isn't fulfilling her contractual obligations and keeping the man happy. For that don't blame the business, blame the wife for not doing her job right and not taking care of her man as she should! The fact that its a residential neighborhood now, doesn't hold any water either. This business was there before any of those homes, it had to go through the same scrutiny as any other business to get approval from the state and/or city to open its doors. Its doing business within the parameters of the law and is in its appropriate zone.
The fact kids play in the parking lot, only points to the ignorance of their parents for not watching their children, this is the reason most of these kids grow up to live on welfare or become gang-bangers. If the fact that this business is open and in the "neighborhood" bothers you and gets your panties in a wad, then you should consider moving out of the neighborhood and finding another place to live.

People need to realize that having "connections" and having friends in the right places is an everyday part of business, its what made this country what it is, and will continue long after you have gone the way of the dodo. If a few mexicans find it offensive, then I suggest mving back to what ever "pueblo" you came from and live your life as you see fit.

Let's face it folks Galaxy is there to stay and if anyone tries to rile up the hispanic neighborhoods to get the shop shut down, expect the Migra Bus at the door. I am 100% sure that whoever owns the shop is more willing to pay to deport the revel rousers than sacrifice a lucrative business.

Truth be told, as Scorpionking so put it, Galaxy provides a service to the horn dogs who aint getting any at home. Galaxy provides a services where Juan Pancho Macho Man by Day can go in the store and pound on some other guy's ass. If you ever notice, many of the men at Galaxy are Hispanic and many of these men have loved getting sucked off or love to screw a dude in the ass...Galaxy provides them the place to do that and that is why the place is open. SUPPLY AND DEMAND...it's so simple people: plus Galaxy contributes to Stone Park's economy.

I was born here. My father was born in a "pueblo". But he emigrated legally, so you don't have to get your panties in a wad over that either. More than a "few" Mexican(-Americans) who live there find it offensive; they are just powerless to do anything right now. Next time they'll vote the crooked Italian out though, I predict. Mexicans and voting should never be used in the same sentence. They wouldn't know a ballot from a tortilla, so go on believing your fantasy that you will one day unite and vote that honest man out of office. Try to concentrate on coming up with an escape route for when that big Migra bus pulls up at the next taco fest. someone earlier in the thread said that the Mob strong arms these guys, owners of a lot of the stores like these, even if it doesn't happen to Galaxy they were saying it's happened to another similar store in another further western suburb, earlier in the thread. I say good for the mob; let the mob strong arm them, hopefully one day they will cease to pay their "mob tax" correctly and get what they have coming to them, broken limbs, or worse.

Nobody's talking about vandalizing the place. That's childish. Look it's not an ethnic issue, I don't believe the op put it that way, and I didn't see other posters in this thread (who seemd to be Mexican) putting it that way either for the most part. I don't see therefore why you have to keep insulting Mexican people, really. It's not an ethnic or linguistic or cultural issue. I have no problem with anyones ethnicity. Italians have a lot of cultural similarities to us anyway, when it comes down to it. Thats the issue. Probably about the dumbest quote on the thread so far. Can you come up with ANY reason why a store like Galaxy should be where it is? Or can you disprove the well-documented info (Chgo SunTimes for example) that the store was only able to open in such a locale because of Mob corruption? Can you contribute anything meaningful? Can you state that you honestly believe (and if so, expound upon that belief) a store like this could be found in basically any other surrounding towns, besides Stone or Melrose???
