And I'm sure that Mr. Tobias is a legal, "law abiding" citizen of the United States..........NOT!!! Now the citizens of NC will be paying his room and board for the next several years, and we as United States citizens will be paying to have him deported, which will probably never happen. My prayers go out to the Keigley family.

Jose Santos Tobias, an unlicensed driver. Most likely illegally here in the USA. Clearly in contempt of the law in any case. My condolences to this family for their loss.

Another illegal kills somebody innocent. When are we going to stop the invasion of illegals into this country?

The concept of illegal is being invalidated by our own government. Columbus was declared a "sanctuary city" for the flies attracted by the light of Liberty's torch and there's not a thing anyone can do about it. May as well kwitcherbitchin and figure out how you can fit in in the New America.

Thank you to those of you who expressed their condolences. This is a horrific ordeal we must go through. For the sake of our family, please do not make further comments about the seat belt issue. We all know what is best, however, his mother was driving and Traven was in the back seat. There will be enough guilt without bringing up any more. First, do no harm. Thank you.

A terrible tragedy. My condolences to the family. To "Travens Great Aunt", this forum is a mean and nasty place. It would be best if you kept your family away from here. It will save you all a lot of unnecessary pain.

I too hope no one mentions the seatbeat issue in a derrogatory manner but I think it is a mistake not to mention it at all. The first I heard about the accident and saw that he wasn't wearing a seatbelt it reminded me to make sure my teenager is wearing his when he's sitting in the back seat (he always does in the front but tends not to in the back). In my opinion if it saves one life, it is worth mentioning.
