Report: John Edwards Engaged to Mistress

While I don't have much faith in the National Enquirer, if this is true this guy is a real piece of work. How about showing some class here John? Bad enough you aren't smart enough to use birth control with your "girlfriend", now you can't wait six months or so to move in with this woman. Show a little respect to your wife of many years who just happens to be dying of cancer.

Whether this story is true or not anyone who could disrespect a dying woman the way he has already done makes one question how any other woman in their right mind could possibly want to be with such a snake.

Congratulations of your fine catch of a man. I'm sure he will stand by you in good and bad times. If you get sick you will absolutely be able to count on him for love and support. Don't even think for a second that he would possibly be unfaithful to you, I'm sure he would never consider putting his wanker in another woman (or man for that matter)

John Edwards is the biggest JERK! I feel so horrible for his dying wife Elizabeth. Its bad enough she has to go through what she is going through with her cancer but she also has to deal with his infidelity and now him being engaged to the mistress. Poor thing. The least he could have done was hold out and stick by his wife till the end and then move on. She probably doesn't have much longer. Would that have been to much for him to do after being with someone all those years.

He's a cheater and will continue to cheat. The second wife will find that out soon enough....she's the idiot here.

According to Edwards aide,(Andrew Young) author of the book "The Politician" good old John asked him to take the fall as the father. This, according to Young, was going to be rectified after the campaign, when Edwards was going to admit paternity. Of course that never happened and the only reason he finally did was Young's book was due to be released.
Now, of course John is trying to put the "do the right thing" spin on it. Sorry John "That dog won't hunt."

Hey, the power of the "Y" has been taking down a lot of important men lately. He's stupid--get a vasectomy and he could have cheated and not spawn more Edwards. Who wants an old wife with cancer? He just traded her like the Dems cash for clunkers program, in this scenario, he pays the cash and gives up the clunker. Typical loser. Once again, great "news" story.

If true, the $3.5 million is Elizabeths money also.If true, Elizabeth, now should be able to take $3.5 for herself now.Also she will need the money now to pay help since herdirt bag husband isn't helping or care if she may needmoral support or help with medical care that health ins doesnt pay.Does he really think    that  person     Rielle  would evenwant him if he didnt have money.  This is only my feeling....my opinion about my gut feelings...

I wonder what his 3 children by Elizabeth think of all this? To those who misguidedly say, " What 's the problem? He wasn't happy with an old, sick wife.Nothing wrong with what he did. He deserves to be happy." : You are as sick and narcissistic as Rielle and John. Yes, everyone deserves happiness, but NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS. His wife is smart and accomplished. I am sure that if he had come clean with her about not wanting to be with her anymore, she would have been hurt, but she would have dealt with it. This approach would have been far better for his first set of children-preserving the relationship with the father is even more important since she has terminal cancer. This man,for the purposes of his public (and pubic) image during a campaign wanted it both ways. He should have gotten out of the marriage FIRST. What message is he sending all of his kids? So, all the irresponsible morons who like to blame Elizabeth for not stepping aside, think about that AND get your heads out of the morals gutter.

If I were him, 'n Rielle (sp), I'd be ashamed to do this to ALL of my kids, much less the terminally ill woman who helped him get where he was...but I guess they see it in a different light. Respect, to many noted politician's, doesn't mean much at all...as we've seen in recent years.
