I just hope there's not a loophole so that in years to come he is set free like Michael Hayes was. What is the definition of a life sentence these days?

i doin't understand what it takes to get the death penalty anymore. we are in a economic crisis and we have to spend thousands and thousands on this piece of crap. this is exactly why these people do what they do. there is no real justice,he should be taken out hanged asap.

Anyone given life after October 1994 will serve their complete sentence if it said life with no parole. Parole is no longer an option in this state for crimes committed after October 1994. Michael Hayes was found Not Guilty by reason of Insanity. Meaning he was acquited, but since he was mentally ill he had to go to a state mental hospital until it was determined that he was no longer a threat to himself or others. That is why a judge released him. The NOT GUILTY part is why Michael Hayes has been released. If he had been found Guilty and went to a state mental hospital, after he was determined to be well he would have been transfered to a state prison. It is important to remember that a jury of twelve people made the decision that he was Not Guilty by reason of insanity. I for one think, that he should be in prison because shortly after he killed and injured those people he "no longer heard voices telling him what to do". But we cannot go back and change things now. He was already basically free, he just slept there.

Y'all keep your jobs now! We will have to pay for this POS's 3 hots and a cot for the next 70 years or so.

Oh, I forgot. He gets free cable, porn, health care and will have his f*cking Juris Doctor in 6 years or so.

Michael Hayes was not in prison. He was at Dorthea Dix, because he was declared insane (It's total BS, but that's the ruling).

Eric Holder must give the nod for federal to pursue the death penalty and thats not going to happen because him and the messiah are against the death penalty. This is what happens when uninformed people vote in national elections.

since the state failed to obtain justice lets hope a guard at the prison leaves his cell door open or an inmate trying to make a name for himself takes care of what the state didnt have the stomach to do.

So sorry for the lose in the Eve family..and I pray that these jerks NEVER!!! get out of prison! My best friend was murdered in Thomasville 6 yrs this August while he was doing his job, and the 3 involved in the murder, well the 2 guys got live in prison, ""BUT'' the girl involved, and she is the one that bought the gun, and bullets, and other items, and then after the murder, she hid the items in the wall in her house, and guess what... Next month June 2010 she is released!!! she will be free to do god knows what to the next person... Where is the justice system, for scum like her? My best Friend Charlie Shields, will be laying in the grave yard for ever now, but she gets to go home to her family next month..SO UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!! She should pull life also as the other 2, but there really is no justice for the family and friends, when people like her get to walk free.... I just pray that the low life scum bags, worhtless peice of crap, a**holes that did this the Eve and her family will pay the price of their life in prison.. But it really should be the death plenatly for them and for anyone that takes someones life on purpose!!! Why should they get to just sit in prison and DO NOTHING but eat, drink, and lay around, when people like familys of the person murdered and people that dont even know the family will have to go out everyday and work and bust their a** and pay taxes to take care of these low life scum in prison!!! they get sick, we pay for treatment, they get hurt, we pay, they eat we pay!!
