How will the economy affect your Hoilday Season?

How will this year be different from past Holiday seasons? At our home we are making more gifts and appreciating family more.We are also sharing more family traditions than in the past.My grandmother was a young adult during The Great Deppression and my grandfather was a teenager on a farm;I am writing down their memories that I taped years ago as a teen and binding them in book form for my children.I'm even adding recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation so they will not be lost.
As we go into this season of Peace and giving I'd like to see the Topix Forum family share what they treasure most.
