If you think you want to be an "ambassador" to foreign nations who you think the US is oppressing, then just go on and go hiking there. We won't be leaving a light on for ya' back home.

Do you really think that the CIA would send three white kids to go "hiking" in Iran? I think they could do better than that. They could have at least sent some people there that resembled mid easterners. And why would they choose hiking as the activity? What intel did they plan to get from walking around that a satellite image could not get?

I am not ripping you, but you have to admit, these are fairly reasonable questions.

I wonder if those hippies from Berkeley still believe in that moral relativism crap now? I say let them rot in that prison in Iran for the rest of their lives, we are better off without them. From what I have heard they were living in Syria making friends there before they left for their little hiking trip in Iraq.

CIA, FBI, HLS, ASA, NCIS, CID, all paid by IRS. We are so smart in all are agencies but so dumb when we leave our shores. As regular everyday Americans these three children should have been educated that there are places we " think" we own but the folks living there don't like us. How many have laughed at the stupid slogan years ago that read, " That is our oil." Rich ownership of drills etc "bought" the crude oil that made a few folks there rich.

The way I look at it is these two were lucky to have been imprisoned in Iran for two years. If they were not in an Iranian prison they likely would be dead by now because of some other stupid thing they did.
