I give merit to things not for what they are worth, but for what they mean to express. I need more change of in my own life, I am going to dress in a simple manner,. I will say to all the people that know me...never stop falling in love when you grow old, without knowing that they grow old when they stop falling in love. I would give wings to children, they are angels of God... but I would leave it to them to learn how to fly by themselves. To old people I would say that death doesn't arrive when they grow old, but with forgetfulness.I have learned so much with you all, I have learned that everybody wants to live on top of the mountain, without knowing that true happiness is obtained in the journey taken and the form used to reach the top of the hill.
I have learned that a man has the right and obligation to look down at another man, only when that man need to be helped up. Say always what you feel , not what you think. If I knew that today is the last time that that I am going to talk to you , I would hug you with all my strength and I would pray to the Lord to let me be the guardian angel of your soul.. There is always tomorrow, and life gives us another opportunity to do things right, but in case I am wrong, and today is all that is left to me, I would love to tell you how much I love you and that I will never forget you.
Tomorrow is never guaranteed to anyone, young or old. Today could be the last time to see your loved ones, which is why you mustn't wait; do it today, in case tomorrow never arrives. I am sure you will be sorry you wasted the opportunity today to give a smile, a hug, a kiss, and that you were too busy to grant them their last wish.Keep your loved ones near you; tell them in their ears and to their faces how much you need them and love them. Love them and treat them well; take your time to tell them "I am sorry";" forgive me"," please" "thank you", and all those loving words you know. Nobody will know you for your secret thought. Ask the Lord for wisdom and strength to express them. Show your friends and loved ones how important they are to you

M J D - each point; a goal worth living for. Stay the hard path....for the process is guided by the very hand of God. "I have learned that everybody wants to live on top of the mountain, without knowing that true happiness is obtained in the journey taken and the form used to reach the top of the hill". Yes! It is about the journey. It is in what we choose in every moment of every day...choose to forgive self first...and then you have an abundance to give away. That is where my journey began, and the one I come back to when I'm faced with the frailties and fractures of life, and when the Holy Spirit prompts, the choice is mine alone. Thank you for knowing, and reminding all who care, of what is most important about living the short lives that we live, and the decisions we are made of. Journey on my friend, and don't be stranger here...your words are honey for a sweet change.

I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position. Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me. M.J.D you would be surprised. God Bless 10/11

Scaretters, My favorite Bible passage is...

Romans 12:9 is one of my favorites! "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." and also... Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary
and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.

One goal I have for this year is to read the entire Bible. I started toward the end of last year and have made good strides in this. I guess there are things that are up to me-like continually making better food choices for me,, increasing my activity level (which is tough when it's winter ), and trying to spend more quality time with friends and loved ones. But so much of what I want for my life is completely out of my hands. Ultimately what I want to see is God continually accomplishing things in and through me and not accomplishing things on my own. We need some of this within our county and quit the aggressiveness and slander

I have no right, by anything I do or say, to demean a human being in his own eyes. What matters is not what I think of him; it is what he thinks of himself. To undermine a man's self-respect is a sin. Fear not Commissioner BB

Ah, what a breath of fresh air. Though I am not a practicing Christian, I agree with the simple truths from the Bible. Humanity may have hope yet.

M J D....in kind: James 3:13-18 - "Who is wise among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, un-spiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness".

I believe sittin' in Church doesn't make you Christian any more than sittin' in a barn makes you a horse, but for true seekers, that is where we are taught the LIVING Word of God......and then LIVE it. "Your Word is lamp to my feet and a light for my path". Let me ask you this: Would you consider moderating a Briley Township Citizens Meeting? I would be happy to help with the organization of this....and from the sounds of it, so would some others. I do not expect an immediate answer....as we would both agree the prerequisite is prayer. On another note, how many would like to see this happen?

MJD: you sound like a kind, intelligent soul. Thank you for posting the word of God, our county officals need all of the prayer they can get. consider getting involved in the political arena, or just help with someone you feel will be a good candidate for this years election.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
