you know the so called "blue code" maybe this guy wanted to say something about something going on he didn't like...say some underhanded or illegal things these other guys were into .... usually an "unfortunate" accidental shooting can take care of someone (even a cop) that other cops think might make trouble for them...you never ever know...of course to the naysayers this is mere "SPECULATION" on my part but still "accidently shooting someone not once but twice"
come on

How does a cop get accidentally shot twice? It's spelled G-A-R-Y. Duh.
What do you call the shooting of a Gary cop?
A good start.

sickofitall, when you need a cop, I hope they arrive about 30 seconds too late. Just enough time for you to see them coming before....

you don't see the problem with someone getting shot "accidentally" 2 times....i know and respect many police officers and hang out with them from time to time and some are good and some use the badge to get some kind of kick out of it...and there are dirty cops that make the good ones look bad...i didn't do that or pull that info out of the air...

That may be true kimbev69...there are bad apples in any career field anywhere.

But to say "the only good cop is a dead cop" makes sickofitall about the worst piece of trash I've ever heard.

i totally agree..."sickofitall " has balls to say something like that...a very good friend of mine is a detective...and i was actually just married at the Blue Knights Clubhouse in Paterson, NJ which is a police motorcycle club, i know alot of great cops so this person that said a dead cop is a good one is messed up...

Can't stand cops. I've tried appreciating the service they do for the community only to have it thrown in my face. Any time that I've needed a cop they were completely useless. I've been mugged twice and what have they done about it? Nothing. I've been hit by a car and what did the police do about it? Nothing (and yes they were given the license plate number and description of the car, which they found and proceeded to do absolutely nothing about. If I get pulled over for speeding do they give me a warning? Never. Cops are useless waste of taxpayer money and I'm highly tempted to completely agree with the statement made earlier, the only good cop is a dead one - at least you can understand the reason a dead cop doesn't do anything.

Good riddance! I agree 10000% with pittpup. Think a highway cop will stop and help stranded motorists? No! They'd rather sit on the side of the road holding their radar guns clocking speeders. I got some upsetting news about my dead parents from my upset wife as I rushed home a no good stinking low-life state pig named Verrett from Troop I Louisiana pulls me over and doesn't even give a shit, tickets me anyway.

Think that makes them some kind of hero? There's nothing heroic about a cop. They're just crooks with badges. Nice time I'm taking a leak outside next to one on fire I won't turn turn to help any. Cops are useless and take air and space from the rest of us.

Maybe the reason he is dead is because he was a 'good cop' and was going to reveal the goings on of the 'bad cops'. Thus fulfills the parameters of the quote "only good cop is a dead cop". But Unreal, come on, BE REAL. When the F--- has a cop ever showed up on time? Has a cop ever saved anybody you know or anyone they even know? I HIGHLY doubt it. How often do you hear about cops thwarting murders or robberies or muggings? NEVER. It almost doesn't happen. To act like they are the protectors of society is ridiculous in this day and age. If you are going to be so ignorant, don't display it where everyone can read it.

Some are lenient, but cops turn on you. They abuse their authority. But they're a symptom of a sick nation, our government's the disease. Self-important pawns in the game. I'm no anarchist, but the government that governs least governs best. Which are you more afraid of? Getting pulled over by a shit cop or getting killed by Muslims? Cops are bigger terrorists than terrorists! Good cops are as likely as good KGB agents: extremely rare. What's the difference between a Brownshirt or Blackshirt and a Blueshirt? The language they speak. Nothing else.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Aries

There is a strong focus on career and parental matters today. You need to be cautious regarding your dealings with someone in authority - things may not be what they seem. This is also a good day to spend time with your partner. Communication in general should prove to be smoother sailing than usual so this would be an opportune time to discuss delicate matters with others. Good news in the evening is indicated.
