I find this story about the huge and for the most part unknown raises or promise of merit pay to be hard to believe. Where can I find proof of this?

Check the facts with ANY of the senior staff. All of them have retired this year and can tell the truth without losing a thing. Even the employees from other departments are under a gag about the new shenanigans at the police department.

Who will be the next sgt? Thats not the question that disturbs me so much as how much a raise the person will get. If Conrad gets it, he will get over $23,000 increase, if Atmer gets it, he will get even more since he is lower on the pay scale to start. If Kunz gets it, then same as Atmer. Why the hell are people with little or no experience in law enforcement getting this kind of money.

this is too strange even for Highland politics. I've yet to see any proof that the city actually threw that kind of money at these cops as raises or that there is going to be merit pay. This sounds like a lot of bull.
The city council would not put up with it and the new chief would be looking for a new job if he did it. Stop peddlin the fertilizer. There's enough true things to complain about the city wasting money on, you don't have to lie on anyone. |

Once you people move out of the fast food buisness I think you will find there are jobs that offer raises on a pretty consistant basis. Just some food for thought. You'd better look over your shoulder for Elliot Davis, he's going want to know why you're still employeed and weren't charged with reckless endangerment after Tracy's death. I understand his parents have up to a year to press for charges to get filed. Let's hope you oldest criminal can take care of the younger ones when they put you and Todd in jail. |

Chris needs to watch his back with Heather AND the Chief. At worst she got away with murder or reckless endangerment and the CITY covered her a** hoping the families of the 2 young men who died don't realize they have lawsuits. She arrogant and incompetant and thought SHE was getting the SGT rank. Conrad needs to distance himself from her quickly.....look what happened to the other Sgts that got in her way.......all FORCED to retire.
It's starting to look like an Investigation into our PD may be in order. Who should do it Elliot Davis or Illinois State Police??? |
