Tonight there goin to interview these 4 cops to be next sgt for the police. Who do you think will be #1? This is not about who you like or you think is good, just who you think the it will be.

Twyford will win on points. He has been there far longer than anyone else on the list. Much to our dismay. They should have dropped him like a bad habit whne he pushed the last chief in the back. If all is right in the world it should be Athmer. Conrad as second but a distant second.

Officer Conrad would be best. He is going to law school to be a lawyer so he should know the law better than the other cops. He's more likely to respect the law too.

The question is who cares. I'd like to see Kunz get the position, it would get a an idiot off the street and behind a desk before she gets someone else killed.

Is this new sergeant taking sergeant Seafelts place. He was a good cop and will be hard to fill his shoes.

Chris Conrad has been sued in the past for civil rights violations.

Anyone can sue. Cops get sued more than anybody because people dont like someone telling them what they cannot do. By the way, its true Conrad was sued but the person didnt collect because as is usual with these cases, there was no merit to the suit.

IF she gets it, she'll spend even more of her on duty time at the station on the computer responding to this forum. Give it to Conrad or Atmer, at least they both actually work while on duty and neither is a threat to the community or fellow officers!

My understanding is that they are NOT appointing a new Sgt. but are required to have an updated list of canidates every 4 -6 months, even though a position is not available.

Heather Kunz is number 3 on the list. Joe Michaelis will have the chief skip the first two to appoint her the next sgt. After that his even better buddy Darren Twyford will move to the third on list position to make him eligible for appointment to sgt. the process is slow but Joe keeps his promises. Haberer shouldnt have been so pushy. the next hurdle is to get Anglin to resign to make room for a sgt. they also have to make a deputy chief so they can make the next position available so both Heather and Darren can be sgt. Finally, some decent sgt can whip this department into shape.

You think Heather or Darren would make a decent Sgt???! Where do you live because it sure isn't around here! Darren pushed/punched a superior officer and wasn't fired but that doesn't mean he shouldn't have been. Heather was invovled in 2 incidents where a death occurred and, as far as I've heard, they are still under investigation.

Neither is qualified to be a Sgt much less a Mall Cop!

Anglin is the best example of what a cop is and should be. He is respected by his community and his fellow officers. He doesn't ask for favors for his family and doesn't get in the way of anyone dealing with them. When his son got a DUI, he didn't try to get it "taken care of" or try to hide it. He let the cop do his job & made his kid go to court....how many others do you think would do that? The Department would be foolish to try to get him to leave.

Dear Heather, who do you think you are kidding? Everyone knows you have actively been pushing for Anglin to retire ever since he was hurt on duty and you got to supervise your shift. A little bit of power go to your head. As I recall you let a parollee put a gun in his mouth while he was in your custody while you were supervising. Nope, Conrad or Atmer would be much better choices for Sgt than you, but once again, how do you get Anglin to retire, he loves his job and his town and they love him too. And you're wrong about the new chief too, he doesn't need you to do his job or save his job. Why don't you stop peddling this trash.

johnnyBbad isn't Heather, it's her hubby! He's trying to get her in a better position with HPD so they can call in favors and he won't have to pay the bail for her kids! Criminals in the making is what I've heard about them.
