Chillax Friends & Neighbors!:)
FRESH & EASY IS IN TOWN!
It's a HAPPY TIME IN SAN BERNARDINO!
This is just a PART of the _MANY_ things Mayor Morris has done to make our city BETTER than it has been!:)
Soon, we'll just zip in to Fresh & Easy, Target across the way, Home Depot at the next light and call it ERRANDS ACCOMPLISHED!
I _LIKE_ knowing Arden-Guthrie is demolished and Home Depot is on the way to fill that big space with something USEFUL!(A gal's got to have her annuals!):) Thank you for that, Mayor Morris!(Sorry Wendy couldn't be bothered to lend a hand...)
I _LIKE_ knowing we have our OWN Fresh & Easy in SB - I always felt a bit guilty shopping the others in Yucaipa & off the 10W (We all benefit from the BOOST to our tax base the new store brings!) It's a testament to his civic-mindedness that Dennis Baxter stepped in to help with Fresh & Easy when Wendy "couldn't be bothered" - too busy scheming with Penman?) LOL!
I get where the sad sack is coming from - let him be - he's already suffering enough as-is and isn't at the time in his life where he's ready to accept help.
Our city's schools ARE getting better - the API says so - and that's neutral, so... no 2nd guessing it. It is what it is. I still won't let my family set foot in one though. But, I'm happy for those less fortunate, who have no acceptable alternative.
That's about it from me - HAPPY to be living in a town on the move UP: SAN BERNARDINO, so, I'm voting for the mayor who brought us this far, excited to see where we'll be with four more years of his leadership,
MAYOR MORRIS, He's FOR US! PROVEN RESULTS! Just look at Fresh & Easy!:)

Calling people names is a great tool to get the attention of a person. If you know the person call them by their name,And if you forgot their name politly say sir or any other term . Until you know what that person stands for and their beliefs are, you will not know the persons full name. FRESH AND EASY I belive caters to people who know most foods in store is unnatural and not healthy for most animals and even worse for humans. Their prewrapped items are a fresh food and easy choice when attempting to eat more healthy and wondering were to start and what to buy . Kind of a tv dinner format meal in a box. If it gets people on track and eager to eat right im all for it. You can eat healthy way cheaper once you see the light.

The 98 cent packs are a blessing!:)
Have you tried the big milk chocolate bars with almonds, yet? OMGosh! I got them as stocking stuffers, last Dec.- when they were on sale for $2 and I've never looked back! Now, they are $4, but, WORTH EVERY PENNY! BEST EVER! By FAR!:)
To me, it seems the most "name brand" variety comes from in the aisles - and the freezer section.
I'm not brand-loyal, so...
I get the sense this is more like "the corner grocer" kind of a model - not like a "neighborhood grocer", you know what I mean? The footprint is smaller, so the selection is reduced with the floorsize & shelfspace. Still, I like the way they are always rotating the stock - keeping it FRESH - I was in Stater's this evening and saw ONE Romaine "worth it" - the rest had been trimmed over & over so many times they were down to the core - but, they all were for the same price... And, I almost got something (forgot what now... produce...), thinking it was 10x$1, but, it was 10x$10 - Oh! RED PEPPERS! I can get a 98 cent pack at Fresh & Easy! :) I'm not sure it's the place for bathroom supplies, but I saw lots of people loading up on paper goods (That's what Costco is for, to me):)
OH! I was going to mention, Italian oil-packed tuna, in glass - it isn't "name brand", but WOW!_SO GOOD_!
We Americans need to do two things, and they disagree, so I'm "not there, yet" on this one: 1 is eat more LOCALLY 2 is open up our eyes to the goodness on a global level - The pantry is not, by KRAFT alone, stocked!:) lol!
Viva Fresh & Easy!:)

My son is privately homeschooled so don't worry about your tax dollars because your public schools suck. I am a stay-at-home mom, I'm 5'3" and 125 so that isn't "chunky" according the the BMI. My husband does work 40+ hours a week due to losing the 2nd $100,000+ salary when we decided to homeschool. I volunteer in the community and at church, and I don't have to tear everyone down like you because unlike you I have a good disposition and a life. You are a really sad person and I feel sorry for you. Maybe getting off of your @$$ and walking across the parking lot would do you some good. You go girl!!!

Mike C wrote: <quoted text> Yes they can. It is their property and they have the right to have any vehicle towed that violates their rules. All they need is a sign saying that your vehicle will be towed if you park in a reserved parking spot. Clarks in Riverside even has a security guard that writes $20.00 citations for parking there without a token. You see signs in most parking lots that say your vehicle will be towed if you park in reserved spaces. If someone has a handicap plate or placard they can park in the reserved spots without being cited or towed by Calif. law. Feel free to locate one of those signs on the property of Fresh N Easy, they simply dont exist, as the only enforceable parking spots are for handicapped individuals. Also, at Clarks, if you get a ticket from a security guard, dont pay, just shread it. The fine is not enforceable unless written by a police officer, security guards are not under a sworn oath, and you cannot compel them to show up to court to contest the ticket.

I do read the posts, but whenever some says, " I have a freiend who...," they are generally referring to themselves. Since its Monday, I'll go ahead and give you the benefit of the doubt. Thanks for saving us a few dollars on the homeschooling, but south Redlands schools are actually really good, though most kids prefer to be homeschooled so that they can sleep in, go to Jamba Juice, run errands with mom and play their Nintendo Wii. I guess it beats actually doing school work all day, and also stay at home mom's can say, "I'm not just a stay at home mom, I homeschool my child." Also, since you brought it up 5'3 and 125lbs, converts to a little extra junk in the trunk, I'm guessing you are an Seattle 6, so that would make you a California 4. No need to feel sorry for me, as I reside in a nicely manicured south side home, make great money, vacation, and enjoy my life. Cheers!

It's a great little grocery store with the feel of a "Trader Joe's" store. I expected a dozen panhandlers to hit on me as I walked into the store, but, remarkably, none did. It might take them a few days for the local zombies to figure out what's going on in the middle of this dead shopping center. When they do, I pity the poor store manager.

Yes, you cannot get a ticket for parking in the hybrid and parents with kids spots. The only enforceable paking spot is the handicapped spot. As far as Clarks, they can tow you, but a rent a cop security guard cannot write and enforce a ticket, only tickets by police officers and parking individuals can be enforced.

They can try anything in civil court, just as I can try to sue my neighbor for no reason in civil court. But, why would Tesco Foods try to enforce a non legitimate ticket, in Civil court, it just wouldn't happen. Testco/Fresh & Easy have bigger problems, such as losing over 200 million last quarter.

Who thinks the prepared foods are "tasty"? Any favorites?
I liked that tuna sandwich from the other night - arrugula instead of spinach, or Romaine was a peppery surprise. I liked it!:)
Who else has a particular favorite?

Seemed like an odd location for a Fresh N Easy anyways...though I think a liquor store would do just fine..
