I heard there will be "MUD RACES" at the fair this year. You can count me to be there. Give us a show.

Just outside the "Magic City" limits...there's people from 'round the world comin' to join in the Magic. It gon' B a show.....

I can't find any information on the HCBA website for a Mud Race....Is the website updated regularly? Not sure who to contact.

Will there be a carnival this year?

With the trash & thieving Dykes running HCBA these days it wouldn't surprise me if they had a Meth Queen competition & a carnival consisting of rides made out of stolen scrap metal from all over. Pity the Higbee Fair & HCBA use to be great

Last year's fair was great thanks to the HCBA. I don't know who you are but you obviously either don't know what's going on or are a bhead supporter...

Who every this is I agree with you. And to "So Sad" You might be right about it was better at 1 time. But in Higbee you have people who are the followers of the B-heads and let me tell you. Do you think all of the people that was in HCBA at the time the funds was being used to get a person elected in a election. That money was put there for other reasons than to help the one that did get caught stealing it. I know everybody makes mistakes in their life, no one is perfect but come on. And I think HCBA is a group of people that all(except the president)have a vote in on what is going on, where the money goes, and invite you to join or come and sit in at 1 or more meetings. Grow up and act your age not your shoe size and stop gripping about things you really know nothing about. Stand behind your words and show up at a meeting to tell the members how you really feel. You get on here and bash people for trying to help do things for the community. But all you are is WORDS from a faceless person who follows someone who is NOT IN CONTROLL of HIGBEE anymore!!!!!!!!!!

Aren't the people of higbee in control of higbee, I'm pretty sure how that is supposed to work. pssst-to the people in control of higbee, they make this stuff called paint, and siding that goes on the outside of your house, makes it look real nice. There's also this stuff called round-up and weed eaters that work well together. There are also places that take your junk, so you don't have to keep it in your front yards.

you also need to remember, that person that went to prison, just didn't steal from hcba, his campaign funds were co-mingled and he stole from the boy scouts, and no telling what else. so people of higbee, hcba is not the one that put him in prison, he did wrong and deserved the time. you do the crime, you do the time. onto controlling the city, the bhead used to control it, she said what was going to be done and wasn't going to be done. and if she didn't want it done, it didn't get done because she went out of her way to make sure of it, she needs to spend her time in a more constructive way, such as actually working at her place of employment and maybe actually do something for the community, i never saw her fat ass standing and painting, she was always sitting in a chair eating and drinking and telling everyone what to do, boss hog!

Hey, "my thought" you left one more thing out...she also said she was going to do a bunch of stuff, the council voted to do the stuff, but it never got done... just thought I'd add that to your list.:)

she was good at stuff like that, and also good at taking other's ideas and making them her own. and what happened to all these people that were supposed to run as aldermen and mayor? she even wrote rick robert's letter as a right in.

1 person's junk is another person's treasure. And who are you to say what is junk or not? you are probly 1 of the people who keep all of the skelten's in your closet.

I'm a normal rational person, who knows what junk is. Appliances, defaced and severely weathered yard decorations, you know-JUNK. I'm not sure what a skelten is, but everyone has skeletons in their closet at some level. It's called living life. Generally I've found that it's the people who want to call others out about them, who have the biggest issues. Many of the yards in Higbee look like absolute crap, to the point where that statement is more of a fact than an opinion.

There are going to be a lot of old & new things at the Higbee Fair this year. Jelly Belly is back, mud volleyball will be on Sunday,Kings/Queen,(men dress as women) & Queens/King,(Women dress as men) there is a BIKE SHOW,(motorcycles), Mud Races and lots more.

What exactly is a Jelly Belly contest? Is that to see who the fattest, most obese person is? Should be some heavy competition there!
