No jail time, however he will have a felony on his record which makes it nearly impossible for him to continue his education career. 24 months supv followed by 24 additional months of unsupv probation. And Ms. Sims was awarded a restitution amount. Also per her request Lynn will be made to undergo DNA psychiatric evaluations and counseling. Both parties where allowed to address the court. And Ms. Sims gave a very moving statement. She said... Bigamy is emotional “RAPE”

I met him on the internet but was too smart to fall for the BS!!! Felony--there goes the career in education...God don't like UGLY:0)

I know he was a big man but there must be some room in a jail cell for this felon. Felon I thought that was a serious crime. I do not understand how a church or school could employ any individual with this charge. Ms. Sims is a heroine.
The folks that employ such people are quilty also

Now has been settled in court,and now he is abiding in a shelter,yes he has done wrong but continuing to drag this out is reopening wounds for the ones who wre hurting the most,when does the chapter close and we move on.people please quit doing Gods job for him,thanks

I thank the Lord Ms. Sims continued to push this case in the courts. sometimes school officials know these crimnals but fail to dismiss them so they end up hurting everyone they come in contact with.what kind of shelter is being provided for the quilty party. did the church finally dismiss him
I would like to hear from all the other ladies that sent in a comment on the post.

He is living at a shelter now,and as far as the church he hasnt been there in months,but if he comes to hear the word of God so be it,no church should run anyone away in spite of their sins,or their shame.In Gods site we all have sin and come short of his glory,i to formed an opinion about him at first,buy really who am i?what secret sin hasnt found us out yet?if only the walls could talk,and running someone else down isnt that just like gossip?it seems more gossip than the gospel!just pray for his deliverance.outside of titles,names,and public status at the end he was a human first,dont get it twisted im not defending him butprayer helps more than any post on here!

Only those who need to vent will continue to post and it is okay because we have all been hurt. If you do not want the read the information posted on this site then don't come back. But, for those of us who needs to talk about it in a safe place we can. Forgiveness will come with time and that time is different for everyone. IN the mine time Thank you again to the Sims family for stopping the circle of pain. Thank you a million times over. Mr. Jackson will get back on his feet and he still have time to get it right with his maker. Also the whole point is he never had to behave this way he was respected and loved by many. So what is the point? Will we ever get the answers we are looking for? NO. Everyone let's forgive ourselves first and then work on forgiven him. In the mean time if you want to vent go ahead until you get it all out and can move forward. Healing starts when we are open to the process.
