JustWondering wrote: I took two huge baskets of items to the Style Exchange, and they only accepted a handful of stuff, because some of it was bought over 18 months ago (that is their age limit)... and I have TONS of designer/brand name clothes to sell! I am wondering if there is anyone who knows of a good adult consignment store that buys clothes from you. The style exchange gives you cash or store credit. I want to find another store like that, that is not so picky and doesn't only buy clothes under 18 months old. Any help is really appreciated!! There are several womens consignment stores I sell and buy from. I like to sell my clothes to Plum Pretty and Adriene's. Adriene's is on 127. Plum Pretty is on Old Lenoir Rd. Just Google them. I made quite a bit of money from Plum Pretty. I like you was not impressed with Style Exchange. It's great for teenagers but not adults.

Great womens consignment shop in Cornelius-Lake Norman area (about 45 min from Hickory) It is called FiFi's. Great store. They take womens items (mall brand and above) Monday thru Friday from 10am to 5pm no appointment needed. Open 7 days a week.

There is a store called b and l thrift store near Longview that has really cheap prices. I bought nice shirts for under a $1 and a new pair of pants for $2. The original price tag said $54.00 on it. They never have anyone there when I go by it daily. I am going back to buy more after new years.
