Why in the world does WHKY have all these "hater"shows on all am now?
You have the The Glenn Beck Program, which is just a watered down rush, then you have The Rush Limbaugh Show,which that man hates everything and everyone and complains all the time.Then if you aint got enough of hate added to your system, you can tune into The Sean Hannity Show, a Rush wannabe.
I used to enjoy this station alot when they didnt play total haters all day long. Why in the world would anyone want to listen to these shows? They spread so much hate for everyone!

I noticed that too a few months ago. I have stopped listening to whky since. Rush should not be allowed on any station. He spend FOREVER condeming people who were using drugs then got busted HIMSELF!
Was caught not long ago with someone elses bottle of vargria. He was caught coming out of the D.R where they have no child sexual abuse laws.He was also traveling alone. Why would he need these pills when he is TRAVELING ALONE.
My opinon of whky changed when they changed their lineup to be 8 hrs of total crap.
I dont know any many people who listen to them anymore.

Who would want their children listen to Rush? he would have all of them hating everyone!We have enough hate in th world as it is.I refuse to listen to him or allow my teenagers to listen.

I like their local stuff. good morning show, plus they do a great job with the news and sports. better than anybod else in the area.

they may very well be the top listed shows but they are not what children need to hear. I do like the am ( before 9 am) show but have recently( since last fall I think) stopped listening to this cause I have home schooled children who are with me when some of the political crap comes on. This station has became a total political station and the shows are not for children.

understood. I just like that they are usually on top of the local news and sports scene. I listen for that in the morning show and they update their website with stories.

The liberals are not even real Americans. They are the ones with hate for their own country. They snuggle up to illegals, crack heads and anti USA. These bastards family and children will suffer for their behavior!

That's good, I didn't catch the part about not listening anymore. I figured you were one of those guys who listens to stuff even if it infuriates you. Having sat-radio around here is essential, all radio stations in the area suck, except for 1400 out of Statesville, they have Coast to Coast AM, which is pretty entertaining. Dr Laura was a conservative prude who you're better off for having never heard. She is in no way better than anything else on WHKY.

Yes, it is good to stay informed but Rush hates everyone and everything and spends his time on the air yelling , screaming and whinning about someone.

Something I have noticed lately is how liberals are not really very liberal at all. They seem to be very quick to condemn and label anyone that disagrees with their point of view on any subject. How can they be liberals if they are also intolerant of differing opinions? Liberals and Conservative have always disagreed in the past but nowadays if a public figure expresses the conservative viewpoint on current events then they become a target of vile hate speech.

For those of you who don't like the talk radio on 1290, I hope you have actually listened to these programs on a few occasions before you formed your opinion. If you have never listened then you may be surprised by some of the points that are expressed and how easily you can check the facts on what is being reported.

The public has more than one point of view and "talk radio" brings balance to the news that is reported by other outlets.

BTW: These programs are not targeted at kids. There's plenty of "music" on the other stations for them to listen to.

It would be one thing if you listened to these shows. What do you consider hate speech? Or are you just towing the party line? I don't agree with all these guys say but have never heard any hate speeech.

Just listen to rush. He hates anyone who is not from here, he hates blacks, he hates gays,he hates mexicans. IF they are not white and american, Rush hates them and says it alot.

I have never heard "hate speech" on these radio programs either. I was thinking more about how people have been attacked lately when they just express their conservative viewpoint.

The former Miss California is one example of someone receiving some pretty harsh treatment including name calling and other derogatory comments.

Chester named this topic "WHKY Radio, Hate Radio". I don't hear anything hateful on WHKY but evidently Chester thinks that anything other than his views is Hate Radio. I don't except everything I hear on WHKY as fact but I do find myself looking for more details on some of the topics that are discussed there.

And you think Rush, hanity and Beck are the silent majority?? Are you living in a bubble! These men are the rudest men on talk radio. Always condiming someone for something. Rush talks about how bad drugs are and didnt he get busted recently with someone else's viagria pills? It was all over the papers.
