Anyone know anything about schlageter's ? Or import parts for less in hickory

Yes, please do not do business with them.I paid them to fix my subaru engine. They said they fixed it, but when I started the car it made a rapping noise.They promised they would come and get it and fix it. It took them a month to come and get it. And now another month has gone by, and they have refused to fix it and bring it back. I am going thru the court system now to get my money and engine back.

Oh man if they have your car I feel sorry for ya,you better come up and get the Hickory Sherriffs Dept to take you to get your car back from them after so long they will file for your title under abandoned car rules they are cons in every since of the word they have done it so long they have every angle covered they sold me an Engine plucked right from the junkyard said it was pretested the only time they answer the phone is when you threaten with the hickory Sheriffs and gave a warranty that wasnt worth the paper it was written on The Hickory Sherrifs Dept have more reports on them they want me to come down and talk to them i plan on it soon if they lie before the deal its fraud they should soon be charged with that,please reply with the whole story if you can Have a great day they got me but paybacks is a Bioch.

Sorry you have been taken by them also. I called the Hickory Sheriffs Dept, and they told me they could not help me, that I would have to call the Magistrates office, I called them and they said I would have to go thru the clerk of courts. I called the clerk of courts and they told me I had to go thru small claims. I will be doing something, but I don't want to write it here, just in case Shane or Ann are looking at these blogs. Also Shane and Ann were arrested in 2005 for 28 counts of Animal crulety, the let 28 horse's starve and live under cruel conditions.They also had a business, that the Better Business gave a F rating, becuase they had so many complaints filed against them.I am wondering why Michael Vic had to do jail time for cruelty, but these two just walked away. I guess that is why they do what they do.I guess nobody wants to do anything,but I am not that way, I can't live with these two out there hurting other people.

You need to contact the Catawba County Sheriffs Dept. and i know who u need to speak with just cant put it on here also . We need a way to get in contact with each other so we can talk about this maybe through email , These people are scam artist and always give these lame excuses that make no sense.How did u find them to get them to work on your car ? Im just wondering where they do their advertising other people need to be warned about these crooks before they rip more people off. Yeah we googled their name after the engine was bought and they wouldnt return the money or another engine and it brought up lots of things about them and we kind of figured then we had been ripped off . They were also kicked off ebay for ripping people off . I dont understand how they are getting away with all of this . We are not the only ones they have done this too . Go on mercedes parts source and look at all the stuff people have posted about them .

I was ripped off by the Schlageters also, bought a Subaru with a completely "rebuilt" engine, days later found out the engine was shot, let them come back to pick it up and they kept it for six weeks and did nothing to it though Shane claimed he did...new mechanic had to rebuild the whole thing...while they had it their dogs trashed the interior....when you google them you find out how many people have been scammed by them....I have contacted Catawba County sheriff's office, ask to speak to the detectives...report them....I am trying to get in touch with as many people who have also been scammed, the more of us , the more likely they will be arrested and stopped...then we can go to the DA and have them prosecuted....contact me geckocircus@gmail.com

please help! this happened to me!!! I'm in Hickory, and i bought a subaru from them with a "rebuilt" motor, days later it leaked all the oil out and is knocking terribly! they keep giving me the run-around and lame excuses....is there anything i can do!!!!!

Hey dude you need to contact detective Kerry Penley at the catawba county sheriffs dept, sooner or later thier going to charge them for ripping people off dont waste your time in small claims court they dont even show up for court .

If they are really that bad you folks ought to get together, find a lawyer and sue.
I'm not a big fan of lawyers but they have their place, and it sounds like this is one of those times.

Just an update on schlageter's/imports parts in Hickory. Well they have filed for bankruptcy and have felony charges against them for selling a car without proper paper work. "BEWARE" schlageter's they are still advertising on Craigslist under Subaru repairs. I still wonder how they can be in business, but I guess when you know all the legal ropes on how to steal,lie and cheat,it doesn't matter

Well is that the only thing they were charged with? they have comitted fraud on so many people thanks for the update I still have the bad motor they sold me in case I ever need it for court .

I met Shane online while looking for a Subaru engine. He contacted me and offered to repair my 2.5 liter engine replacing the head gaskets and seal. I delivered the car to his house outside of Hickory, I noticed how much he loved and cared for his kids, I didnt think twice about leaving my car with him. Then I saw this trash online tearing Shane down, I started doubting my decision then questioned him about these reviews. After our discussion, I wish I had never doubted Shane, being in a management position I realize also with some people you can not please everyone. This was about two months ago and my car has been doing great, I would not hesitate to call Shane again for help.

LOL , I actually sat back and laughed when i read this Which One of Shane and Ann Schlageter's split personality's Are you ? Everyone that has posted about them have been ripped off and Oh Im sure there's more they just didnt find this information until its to late . So Shane or Ann NO ONE believes you . Iam pleased to see that the Schlageters have performed beyond your expectations maybe you could ask them to resolve my complaint. I have been trying for two and a half years, yes two and a half years to send an Mercedes OM617 engine to the UK. I paid all the money they wanted to ship, I even offered more this Februray to ship but Ann said it was her fault and she would deal with it. Still waiting. If you look at her FB page it would appear she is educated. Really cannot understand their behavior.

These people, Ann and Shane Schlageter have a conviction for abusing animals ie 28 horses left unwatered.
Look it up, Google their names.
Abusing animals is how pschycopaths, serial killers start out.
These people have children.

Yeah look them up on the nc court system court docket , Shane is having to go to court in catawba county for Worthless check charges and failure to do work after being paid . Also They are still advertising on craigslist so people beware under import mechanic the post was on there on april the 6th and they dont accept checks So people cant cancel after there motor blows within 24 hrs .
