God, grant me the serenity to not choke the living shit out of half the people I meet out in public on a daily basis that are assholes. Especially illegal aliens that can't read our signs or understand our traffic laws, while "driving", and bitches "driving" with cell phones protruding from their ears, oblivious to what is going on around them, like other vehicles trying to navigate the same roads... AMEN!

"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference. "

How long will they survive when their goal appears to be putting their customer base out of work. What percentage of your inbound freight comes in on overseas containers from Asian sweat shops?

If there are so many people applying, then how and when do they get time to review everyone fairly? Sounds like your chances are really very slim. I have a son that worked for a warehouse for several years yet he cannot find a job now. He was told he was a good worker but because he was kept on temp status, he was let go last fall. How can he actually get through al this red tap?

Uhmmmm, they are the boss....that means they do get to tell you when and what and how to do something. After all....they are paying you to do a job....not paying you to play.

People need to remember....if you want a job, you gotta deserve that job!! If you don't like the way you are being treated, leave....there are a thousand others waiting to take your job and happy to have "big brother" watching. At least they will get a paycheck!!

No, but I know what good work ethics are about and it is an employers "hey day" now....you gotta do what they want cause there are plenty more looking for jobs and would take yours just to get a paycheck. Right or wrong, it is just the way it is son.

Target does not hire people to screw around. Their facility is a working warehouse with lots of moving equipment. In order to avoid accidents and injuries, they are obliged to hire people that can do what is asked of them. Also, the people that work there have to have a certain level of education to ensure that everything runs as error-free as possible. Sounds like some of you should have paid more attention in school instead of hitting the bong pipe and beer kegs.

Not saying it is right or wrong, however, companies want to hire individuals that will stay on the payroll for some period of time. Having a degree raises a red flag because it is proable that while you are employed by the company you will still be looking for a job to match your education and thus could leave in a very short period of time.

Do you think its ok to wear a shirt and tie to the interview?
My boyfriend just got a job there, he's actually looking for a mechanic job and just graduated from NASCAR tech. But everyone wants a years worth of experience at least so it aint looking too good for a mechanic job. But for his interview it requested on the website to wear a suit and tie and he did and now has the job.

It's all about presentation and how you carry you self with attitude during an interview. Being an minority is a plus for the company = tax cut.
If you complain about not being hired increase your social skills. And learn to tell them what they want to hear!
Good luck!

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Leo

If you're trying to make your money stretch as far as possible, this is a good day to discuss ideas with someone who's financially minded, and can give you some useful input. It will also be helpful to bounce your ideas off them and use them as a sounding block. If you've been hoping to turn a colleague into a lover, work your magic on them now.
