I hope we here in Hiawassee have a happy ending Tuesday like in Hellawassee. Gibby NO, Hedden NO. You two had your chance and failed. I can't believe you have the nerve to even show your face let alone run for office again.

My math may be off but it represents around a 14% sales tax hike - on EVERYTHING you buy, including food, and will cost the average taxpayer an estimated $680 a year!

Will it mean better roads? No! It'll mean the money they now spend on roads can go elsewhere and the new tax will replace it.

Any official word on how bad the t-splost tax hike was defeated here?

I've read where the supporters, state government and special interests, plan to try again in two years.

How does someone win with less than 50% of the vote. Hedden only got 45% The Ledford lady would have won if that other lady didn't get in the race. Sounds like Hedden found someone to split the vote against her. Old trick.
Gibby needs to be in a home. That's what you get with a bunch of retirees voting who have no idea what is happening in our school. They vote for the person closest to their own age.
Hedden and Gibby lead our schools to th bottom of the pile with their friends and family hiring. Now we get more of it. Glad my kids are grown and gone.

I don't understand peoples problem with DH. Nor do I understand why anyone wants PL. Has no one figured out her ulterior motive?

Yes, what does PL have to offer? I'm already aware of her ulterior motive. Just wondering if the good outways the bad.

That would be reason enough for me to vote for her.

Was she ever prosecuted for selling knock-offs and was her husband for trying to run over a TV reporter?

Daily Horoscope for June 18

Aquarius

Everything's looking good today, even if you've been having a rather thin time of it recently. You're feeling positive and eager to make the most of your current opportunities, which means that you'll attract good things in your direction. If you're going out on the town you'll have a whale of a time, especially if you're with some good friends.
