So what does everyone think of Mr. Godby at LHS

I think Mr. Godby is a great leader, a great man of God, and he is great for the community of Logan. He does so much for the needy of the county. Great man with great intentions

Mr. Godby is truly a great person. He has helped numerous families throughout logan county by providing them with food and clothing by creating food and clothing pantries in his church. He also created a great "Church League Basketball" program which allows teens to be able to enjoy playing in a basketball tournament while also getting to learn about the lord. We truly need more men like Mr. Godby in this world.

Mr. Godby is not only a fantastic person but he is a fantastic role model for youth in Logan County. I would like to know who put the disagree and the nuts judging on superman's comment and then were either 1) Too afraid to write their own opinion or 2) Couldn't form a coherent sentence to actually say something. Mr. Godby in one instance took in a family who had no water and gave them a facility to come bathe in. Not only that but Mr. Godby spends his own hard earned money to buy milk, bread and other necessities for children who need it. I have done the score books at Church League for sometime now and I don't see how anyone could say a bad word about this man. He is truly one of the best people in Logan County and in my opinion the Logan Banner needs to do an appreciation article on him.

HE IS NOT A RACIST! Why would you say something like that. When I was in high school, he fought and was the only one who wanted to teach an African History class, just so people would better understand what they went through. He is a wonderful teacher, a great parent, and a wonderful role model for not only children, but adults as well. He's done a lot with helping needy people in the community, he's made many extra curricular activities for kids to be involved with (keeps off drugs), he wants adults to do more also and provides ways for them to do more in their community...you shouldn't be able to call someone a racist, esp. if you know nothing about them! Also, he has many different people of different ethnicities that goes to his church...it's not just a white church!

The hell with Catholicism. Their leaders like little boys. I bet you do too.

I can now see how mean you really are. MR. GODBY is a good man. I have never known him to be anything but a CHRISTIAN and a good role model for his family and everyone around him. WHAT A MEAN THING TO SAY!!!!!

He's not all bad. I respect everything he has done for the needy and especially getting young people interested involved and interested in the church. I don't think it is appropriate to tell Catholic students they are going to hell in the position of a teacher though, even in jest.

I am Catholic and he always made mention of it and he did the same thing with other Catholic members of my family.

I think that he has done some wonderful things but standing out in the hall and yelling about Prayer club and making those who dont attend feel like they are horrible people is not the best way to treat people.

Education and Religion dont mix. If I was Catholic, Muslim, Christian, whatever should not affect how he treats a student. If he is such a good christian man then none of this should matter.

I would much rather receive spiritual guidance from Mr. Godby than I would from a Catholic priest. The Catholic priest would recommend you find the nearest little boy and take him to the confession booth.

Mr. Godby is a great man and i really respect him.. and he really does good with the youth. We need a lot more men and women of God that help the youth and people like he does. <3

Mr. Godby is a nice man. I must agree with everyone on that. Also, he does do wonderful things for logans' needy. But, yes he does make you feel like the worst person in the world, because you chose not to go to pray club..He does tell students that Catholics are going to hell. And the man just made me feel so uncomfy in his class.

He may make people feel bad because they dont go to prayer club and I must admit that i hated walking by him in the hallways on Tuesday. But now i understand that it's because he doesn't want to see lost people go to hell. He means well by the things he does and he is a great man of God. If the worst thing you can come up with on this man is to downgrade him for trying to get people saved, then i would say he is a great man.

I've gotta agree with you Holy Roller!! He is a wonderful man, & a Great Shepherd....always focusing on the Lost sheep....He's always the same, never phony, the face he wears is for real & the legitimate care & concern he has for others is just that...legit & it always comes from the right place...the heart...Much Love to this man...I've found peace in my life because he & others like him, not even for a minute, EVER gave up on me...God Bless =)

People keep saying he makes you feel like the worst person in the world because you don't go to Prayer Club...could that POSSIBLY be the Holy Spirit convicting you that you should go and maybe not just him?
