Odds are good Sasha Hernandez shot this guy around lunchtime in downtown Lebanon on a city street WHILE WEARING HER PAJAMAS.

What the Lebanon Daily News is trying to say is that for the past three days they were just blowing smoke up our @$$, and now they have verified their story.

So Brittney Ritter is the star witness, Great a "thug" herself. Yeap she wouldn't lie! Thats why she left out the fact that her friends{L and D} were also there and involved! I am not saying Sasha didn't do it, Can the Lebanon City Police for ONCE do the job right! Get some credible witnesses, like the guy across the street smoking a cigerette who was NOT involved!!! Is Brittney being charged for assalt on Sasha's mother? Considering it was not the first time? I doubt it, then she wouldn't testify!!!! I think Brittney and the other two should feel ashamed to know that steven died because of them, and what they started!

Hmmmm...filed off serial numbers, under age posession of a firearm, using a firearm in a crime....Don't we have laws against this? Perhaps we need more laws. Poor victim would be alive today if there were only more laws...Make it illegal to do these things...POINT: Only criminals are involved in crime.(Absent including victims/police/society) They DO NOT CARE what the law says. So, was the gun at fault here again? Ok...if the gun was not present...Then the moron would likely have used a knife...as has been said: 2 more off the street. Wanna be a thug...die like one.

A local man is dead after jumping off a 15 story building. According to the Daily News the fall did not cause his death, it was hitting the floor that did it...STAY TUNE FOR MORE UPDATES.

Just because someone is shot it does not mean that the gun shot wound is what killed them. For all we know it could have been a heart attack that killed him after he was shot. So I congratulate the news for reporting what needs to be reported. If he died of natural causes possible caused in conjuction with the gun shot this 'gangsta' would be charged differently. So don't fault LD News for reporting the news.

I agree about the pajama's. Why is it these low life welfare cases cannot put on clothing in public and must shuffle around in their bed clothes. Pathetic. I agree at least that 2 scum bags off the streets.

I want this story on the front page every day. The coroner's report is news and confirms the story we've heard. The darned paper is finally doing what it should be doing and people blast them for it.

Maybe because you want this to just go away and we can all pretend it didn't happen and that Sasha, her mother, Steven, Jamie, Brenda and all the crap that is involved in this story were all really decent and moral law abiding citizens who just made a few bad choices.

By the logic of a lot of the postings in the various articles concerning this story you'd have us believe that the prisons are just full of really good people, wonderful parents. So what if they did drugs, so what if they neglected their children, so what if they killed somebody. I'm really disgusted by the excuse mentality present here.

Now go ahead and call me a racist even though I mentioned no race. Accuse me of not personally knowing these people. If my best friend commits a crime, he's a criminal. He's wrong. No excuses, no justification because he had choices just like everybody else and he choose to do the wrong thing. No he needs to pay the penalty for his crime and if he changes he has the opportunity to become a good person. Until then, he's a criminal.

Why hasn't Ritter been arrested. She's and all of the people in this fight were guilt of violation article 705.1 of the city ordinances? Every one of them should have at least been cited. Why hasn't Sasha's mother been arrested? Her child was a minor and the gun was illegally being kept in her apartment, that makes mom accountable?

Yeah, the headline should have read... "goon shoots goon". That would have been a little more catchy.

wow...what a story but i agree if the police only would look into it the right way and understand that this 16 yr old is a victim herself. Brittany and her friends jumped her the night before for guess what? "Drugs" yea people drugs. That they all used to do together. Come on Lebanon City Police get a clue 95% of our crime has to do with drugs or is drug related.Find some witnesses that are gonna tell the truth on this case. By far Sasha is not innocent she shot this man but is she really the only guilty party in this case. "NO" those people(Brittany and all her thug friends) are just as guily. Get them all and get them off the streets!!! Do some justice for our City and stop all this violence by putting all the wannabe gang members and "thugs" as they call themselves away. I hope they all feel good about themselves that they took their friend to get shot. What about the driver of the Maroon jeep Jennifer she drove all these people to go fight this girls mother and now we have a murder case on our hands. Is she innocent or guilty? I believe they are all guilty!!!!
