I am glad that Syd got caught finnally, but what people don't understand is that that watse of skin did alot more then just attack the Trooper, he should go away for a long time for the cop, but what about the family that he and his "thugs" harrassed, hurt and planned on killing? This is not a racist case this is a simple (Bad guys got caught and are blaming the law abiding citizens).

When and where did they finally catch him? Haven't heard anything about this for a while now.. Obviously I don't know anything much more about him than what the news stated. But coming from you, about the family that was harrassed, I hope he does go away for a long time. Sounds like it will give alot of people some peace of mind.

OMG it's been a whole year and you all still don't have the story right. Syd DID NOT assault a state trooper. He did and pled guilty to going after an ex-friend who provided testimony against him. But what you don't know is what the supposed victim has done in his life. Might wanna check in to that and see what a worthless person he is. Not excusing Syd for what he did and he is paying for it now. However, Syd has turned his life over to The Lord and is praying for all you ignorant people.

Good Luck! I've been trying to get my home back, most of all personal property including deceased brothers ashes that were stolen out of my home while visiting my sons. Good Luck on getting justice out of the state of SD, if I hadn't been born and raised there with my family going back over a hundred years I'd just as soon have the state wiped off the map.

i knew sid growing up. He was a stupid rotten kid that had sadistic pleasure in hurt every one around him. apperently he has not changed - my view is either lock him up til he dies or capital punishment. people like him don't need to exist. and as for racism in SD, it has always been there and just plan retarded. for its brown against white and yet blacks are revered and glorifed it really makes no sense at all.
