Indian Lake Mall - Hate Crew

I read the article today about the Indian Lake Mall Hate Crew.

How can this be? Gang Activity in the Little Ole Peaceful Town of Hendersonville. We have the Police Force, we pay the tax money to keep them fully equiped with the latest technology, What the Hell is going on...and I ask myself, WE CAN'T CONTROL THESE JUVENILES....

What is the Police Chief doing to control the situation?.

I read the paper, I view the website and I have seen nothing pertaining to this at all.

How long has the Police Dept. known about this. To my surprise, after reading the article, it states over 143 incidents in the last yr.

We have a 11yr old son at home and it makes me wonder where and what he can do in the city safely. What will happen next, the local skating rink have problems. This is simply crazy.

We moved back after being away for 2yrs from a city where violence was a major part of the daily life in Ga...

I will be attending the CPA class the police dept gives and help out anyway I can....

I hope the Janco's are doing well along with their son.

Action Item : The residents need to take back this town and put the HATE CREW out of Business.....Looks like its time for some good ole boy investigation.....

I didn't know anything about the gangs at Indian Lakes either until this recent report. I really am shocked that it has gotten this far. The police are always present throughout the city. I knew about the Rivergate area's reputation for crime, but not here in Hendersonville.

I'm not shocked! The HPD only has officers sitting in cars pointing a radar gun. They may have officers on bicycles at Indian Lakes, but not many. I've seen 3 at the most on a weekend night. And how much longer will we continue to see empty patrol cars sitting on the road...in the same spot every day? Does anybody really get worried now when they see the patrol car on Vietnam veterans drive??? This is ridiculous!

Hate crew is awesome what is your problem. I saw the whole fight and you are all wrong. You believe everything the media says. They lied soo bad. There was no 19 yr. Ganging janco he broke up the fight. And gang activity? Bullshit!!! Not true at all. It's not a gang. I don't agree with everything they stand for but all of you need to get your facts straight before spreading stuff on the tv, newspaper, and the internet.

The so called "Hate Crew" has disbanded. Most of the kids considered in it were in fact not. Most were just trying to be cool. The ones I know trying to be cool didn't keep people from shopping at Indian Lake.

Although the police may not take control of the hate crew, I and my team of vigilantes will.

Hate crew is the biggest bullshit i have ever heard of. I think its hilarious that these little 13 year olds think that they are sooo hard. Let them go somewhere like Inglewood and see how far they get. I would laugh my ass off.

Pay no attention to this...all this is a bunch of lame kids who are involved with HXC (hardcore) music scene attempting to copy the "Youth crews" of Boston, FSU for example...

The fact that tne paper gave this any kind of exposure is sad in and of itself.
