The school should make them serve summer school everyday for the entire summer. After that, They should community service each and every day. They should be banned from the school bus forever!!!!! These kids are mean, and people have killed themselves because of bullying and good for her that she handled herself the way she did. I myself would have grabbed a hold of them. I hope she has nothing but good fortune from her on out!

You know people never cease to amaze me....like someone mentioned in a previous post....this woman's job is to ensure the safety of others on the bus...and I'm sure she would have done or does just that....BUT...it was happening to her....and you better believe that if she had retaliated in any way...it would have been her job...why? because they were kids. It's a lose lose for her...she did nothing and people STILL are on her case.. Job or no....no one would have been able to scrape me off those little brats...whether it was happening to me or if I was witnessing it.

How do you know those names are accurate?
If this would have happened when I was growing up, they'd of been kicked off the bus immediately, we'd of been reported, gotten our a&&es beat by the VP when we made it to school walking and then would of had to take a note home to be signed and returned to the school.
Upon receipt of the note, then our Fathers would have proceeded to kick our a$$es and most probably grounded us.
Can't do that to the little babies today though....

Her best defense was to just sit there and handle herself with dignity and poise and that's the best way she could've punished the bullies. She let Karma handle them and boy oh boy is Karma kicking those little monsters' BUTTS!

I know the bus monitor cannot threaten or even touch the little angels or she could be cited for assault/abuse. I admire her courage and restraint in not lashing out at them; nevertheless, when she got her purse, I was truly hoping she was reaching for a taser.

They surely should be prosecuted. I can't believe they poked her and touched her even knocking out her hearing aids. Their antics were both mental and physical abuse. Does NY have more severe penalties for assault on a person over 65? Use it!

Actually, what she should have done is tell the driver to stop the bus and call authorities. Would you have sat there taking such abuse from children? She was the Monitor on the bus. If she wasn't capable of doing her job she shouldn't have been there. And she certainly doesn't deserve to be rewarded for not doing her job. I'm am NOT speaking up for those horrible kids. They deserve what's coming to them. But she doesn't. Step away from the emotion of the video and think rationally.
