Does Legal Incense show up on a drug test?

I have to take a drug test. I smoke the incense from the head shops. I have been told it doesn't show up. Is this true?

No, it doesn't. Like most substances there is a test they can do for it, but it's a special lab test that is very expensive,very rare and must specifically be requested when the sample is submitted.
In other words, don't worry.

I just wanted to add that most drug tests are done with the dipsticks and not lab tested anyway. These only test for amphetamines/cocaine,Opiates and Marijuana.

what does incense do for you?

Its not just any incense, its herbs with chemicals such as JWH-220, JWH-125, JWH-250,AM-2201 etc...on it that is labeled "incense". The effects are similar to Marijuana but much stronger and it usually does not last as long..

How do you know they aren't safe? The fact is NO ONE knows one way or the other because there have been no studies. They may be,maybe not but you don't know that.

Wrong...it will show up under another red flag that will be pointed out to employers paying for this test.

Try taking the test and see for yourself what comes out and I think you will be surprised. I would not do it if you want your blood or urine clear of any drugs. Test are improving all the time and we can pick out just about anything now with a few simple tests.

The main test will show up very clear and if there is anything else in the fluid we are testing then it will also show up, but not as strong and this will be brought up to the employer.

Oh..and for detox..we now know when that is being used also.

It absolutely does NOT show up in the drug test. I know this for an absolute fact and so nothing gets "flagged". If you want to be sure go to walmart and buy a pack of 3 of the dipstick tests which are the most commonly used. It is not detected at all. I know this first hand and it is common sense.
The active chemical additives are synthetic cannabinoids and they currently cannot be detected with drug tests. This is because of how drug tests work. The basic concept is that your body attempts to break down any drugs you ingest. Metabolites are formed as part of this process; testing looks for the specific types of metabolites that could only occur as a result of drug taking. There is currently no test that tests for the metabolites of synthetic cannabinoids. Rumor has it that scientists are developing a drug test that tests for them, although, the development and implementation process could take years.
That being said, you should always buy from a dependable source. Many companies label all the ingredients and the concentrations on the package or on their websites and many head-shops will gladly show you the lab report that they require from a vendor before purchasing because of the law banning specific ones. You can see for yourself they are usually only the cannabinoids and a herb such as Marshmallow root. If you buy from an untrustworthy source you never know what might be in it so who knows if its something that might show up.
P buy the pure powder and make my own incense out of it and although I have no need to take drug tests, I bought a 3 pack at walmart and tested every day for 3 days while smoking during that time and all were negative.

Well, I got the results of my drug test. And Sam is absolutely correct. It DOES NOT show up! I passed. But I think I am going to stop smoking it. I dont want any chemicals in my body period.
Will smoke once in a while but going to put the brakes on this. Thanks for the info.

IT WILL NOT SHOW UP ON A DRUG TEST UNLESS THEY ARE SPECIFICALLY TESTING FOR RESEARCH CHEMICALS WHICH THE GOV'T IS STARTING TO DO IN THE ARMY AND OTHER AREAS, OR THE CHEMICAL THAT YOU GOT IS IN FACT SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I USED INCENSE ALL THROUGH MY 5 YRS PROBATION AND 2 YEARS COMM CONTROL.
