Liberal Democrats vrs Conservatives.

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't` eat meat. If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. If a liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a person of color is conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.
If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.
If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.(Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)
If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.

That's ridiculous.

I am a liberal and I don't like guns. My neighbors have some and I don't care.

I don't care who eats meat or who doesn't.

Foreign threat? Ask Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy or ask Obama, re bin Laden.

Gay? Republicans stay in the closet. Scared? Half the staffers in Washington are gay.

All blacks are looking for government hand-outs? Huh?

When I needed to support myself, I opened a business and had it for 22 years.

The only time I had a problem with a t.v. show was when I was living in rural Alabama. I couldn't get MTV, I asked why and was told by the cable company it was because of the conservative christians in the area.

Been a Catholic my whole life. Do you consider catholicism a foreign religion? The Vatican is in Rome, so I guess it is.

Insurance? Paid for it 30 years until greedy insurance companies raised my premium to $1100.00 per month. You want them to get away with that, then be a wimp for wealthy insurance companies.

Never sued anyone. But I was sued in a car wreck by a Baptist preacher and it wasn't my fault. Proved it.

T.V.? When I lived in rural Georgia, I asked why I couldn't get MTV, the answer.....Good fearing conservatives don't like it.
