This headline is ridiculous.

The autopsy didn't "reveal" that a bloody pipe was found nearby in a field ... the investigating officers found that pipe.

The autopsy, however, would have revealed that she died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.

The article simply says that the autopsy report indicates investigators found a bloody pipe near Ms. Worley. It doesn't imply that the autopsy itself found the bloody pipe.

LOKEL is right on this one. An autopsy determines CAUSE of death. It does not 'discover a pipe' in a field. But it is TYPICAL of the ACT.

Let us Pray;

Lord, help the Police find the person that committed this sensless crime, and we pray for the family of this young lady, that they may find comfort.
We also pray for the AC-t's that they might find some employees that have a GED and can actually read and spell. Thanks Lord.

What was the "pawning" of jewelry and items prior to her death? Why don't 'they' come out and say what is what and why?

Their standard line for not releasing information is they don't want to tip the killer. Like the killer wouldn't know. Very sad case but I doubt it was random.

I have noticed that they have had very little actually to say about the husband. Up front, they said that he was in the military and was supposed to be coming home. Unless I missed it, I don't recall any of the news stations interviewing him and his wife's family has had little to say about him. I think that a little strange.

You have a good point there. There really wasn't much reported about her husband. I know it's not really any of our business, and there are probably a lot of personal details the general public doesn't need to know. I feel sorry for this girl's little boy, and her grieving mother.

In looking back at this it very well could be that it is none of the public's business what she pawned. The why is obvious.

It has been a year since this senseless crime. Someone somewhere has a clue. The family needs some closure. Anyone with even suspicions is urged to contact the Violent Crimes Unit. And this was indeed a violent crime. Remember Charity Faith Simpson Worley was a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and above all a victim here! Noone has the right to take a life, not only did they take her life they changed the entire paradigm of a family unit. Who do you, whomever you may be, think you are?
I will say straight up here I am a family member and would love for this sniveling coward of a person to come to me if not to the police. What you put this family through with the loss of Charity cannot be put into words. You took it upon yourself to play God, and I really don't think God takes too kindly to that. We as a family unit pray for you everyday.

No odd at all, her husband is a very private person who is dealing with the loss of his wife, suddenly being a single Dad, the loss of his career, the loss of the dreams they shared together. We have had little to say about him because noone asked. He is a great guy who is going thru hell, we think his wishes to deal with it without interference be respected.
