Then you say your family has been in Texas since 1675, based on my understanding of Texas history that either makes you of Spanish, Mexican or Indian decent. Furthermore, if your family has been in Texas since 1675 that would make you Mexican. U.S. Americans didn't start inhabiting Texas until the 1800's.
