he asked about injections.. that's not pain meds or anything of the sort... you don't know him.. maybe he needs help.

Do you not that there us a problem here ? If you pain is that bad why take what ever you take and ask for surgery or something to fix it. Even the doctors see a problem to me if they don't want to give it to you . Where are you from where they give it so freely?

sometimes surgery isn't an option. i know that for a fact.. do some people abuse prescribed drugs? yes. but do that all no. it's up to the persons doctor to tell what kind of treatment a person needs. if they're weren't a real reason some people need them then why do they make it? i respect the earlier posters cause he mention injections. which is placing med in a spot thats bad to try and help the muscle.. not everyone is looking to get high

I'm a retired veteran. I've had seven surgeries trying to alleviate pain. It doesn't go away. I have an option to not live on pain meds and be miserable the rest of my life. The meds help me live a more productive and happy life with my family. Don't speak what you know nothing about. Pain is no joke. I've been on meds on and off since wounded in 2007. I have not once taken more than prescribed and I'm only 30.

There is a pain clinic in lexington next to the hospital dr.molett (name maybe spelled wrong) he's from nashville comes once sometimes 2x a month its called ...top flight pain clinic ....16153403436 is the # and he does except tncare he's really helpful ...good luck and ignore all the smart a*s remarks ppl makin that's the problem with most ppl they automatically call ppl in real pain addicts but I personally know what it feels to live life in pain everyday just cuz others can't see the problem doesn't mean its not real

Thank you for the info Lex. My husband is in pain all the time, but if he has the surgery he needs he probably not be able to work anymore and will have to go on disability. We don't want that. He's still kind of young and just needs to manage his pain right now.
